How big is your dog and how much did he eat?

If it's a big dog, and its just a single 3x3 brownie, he should be fine. Feed him some of his food to help break up the chocolate.

If he's a small dog, you may want to call and emergency vet or poison hotline and touch base with them.

It is OKAY if he ate only one brownie. Chocolate is not good for dogs if they eat it on a regular basis, but it is fine in this case. Just one brownie, right? Not like 20... 20 chocolate brownies would endanger his health.

Your dog should be fine, although chocolate isn't always good for them.

There is an element (can't remember the name of it for the life of me) in chocolate which acts somewhat like caffeine... and it can speed up their system, and affect their hearts. but i would think a dog might have to eat more than one brownie...

just keep an eye on him or her... but i do think the dog will be ok!

He should be fine. Milk Chocolate is bad for dogs but not necessarily lethal. It is the dark chocolate that should never ever be given to them. Our Siberian has grabbed chocolate before and been just fine. Keep an eye on him. If you're still worried try calling a emergency vet, or poison control.

Depends on the size of the dog. Just monitor him. Make sure he isnt acting funny. He'll probably be fine, but watch him and just call ur emergency vet and let them know the situation and ask if there is any need for concern.

Ok...I'm a vet tech...and this is my advice...

If you're truly worried, then make him vomit. Get some hydrogen peroxide and get him to swallow it. Use about 1/2 oz (15mL) per 15 pounds...add a little salt to it...it works faster that way.

It shouldn't be a problem...in our practice that is the first course of action.

He'll be fine. There isn't that much chocolate in a brownie. He may have a little bit of an upset stomach, but other than that I wouldn't worry.

Just keep an eye on him.

yes, he could get sick but i assume he'll be okay. i used to work at a vet clinic and i've seen mini poodles who ate an entire chocolate bunny and lived to tell about it

if he starts to vomit, call the emergency vet.

just keep an eye on him. choclate is meant to lethal for dogs , but both my dogs have had choc and they fine. my first dog that i got when i was only 8 had choc treats for yrs before i even knew it was bad for them, and he lived to be 17, my new puppy we havnt given choc to, but at times has stolen chocolate, only a few days ago she stole a few choc rice krispies cakes , and my old dog once tucked into half an easter egg years ago.

ur should be ok, its not recommended to give choc to a dog , but many have no reaction to it at all, keep an eye on him just in case if ur worried

If it contains chocolate you might want to take him to the hospital tomorrow or he will die. Chocolate contains a chemical that humans can deal with, but animals cannot eat it.
