you can go to party city (or even your local food store) and they should have some paper plates you can get. I've seen ones with dogs on them.

a party idea is you can buy plastic baggies and bake some dog friendly cookies and put 3 or 4 cookies in the baggie, tie it with a ribbon and give them as party favors for the other dogs! that would be really cute. I found a recipe for some simple dog treats: http://www.getrecipe.com/RECIPE.ASP?ID=49

Another site with LOTS of doggie cookies you can choose from: http://www.simplypets.com/pet-recipes/Dog/Treat

(tip: buy a bone shaped cookie cutter :])

Here is also a cake recipe for dogs I found:

1 cup white or whole wheat flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup cooking oil
1 cup shredded carrots
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 egg

Mix the dry ingredients. Add the remaining ingredients and mix quickly. Bake in a greased ring mold at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. You may frost this cake with low fat cottage cheese and decorate with some carrot pieces. Store in the refrigerator.

I also found this cool site with alot of dog supplies for dog birthdays! Since you have alot of time (good thing you plan early!) you could browse and if you find something you like you can always order it! http://www.gooddogexpress.com/page/GDPEI/CTGY/BDP

Good luck party planning!

You can order her a cake from Three Dog Bakery or go online and get recipes for doggy cakes to make your own.
Here is the site I used when I threw parties for my 2 Bulldogs. http://www.dogbirthdaysandparties.com/
I baked them the peanut butter carrot cakes and used vanilla yogurt for the icing. All of my dogs loved them.

You can go to something like party express and find dog designs. Also, look up on the internet for recipes to make a dog friendly cake.

try a dollar store near you - they have great cheap toys for party favors , a chain bookstore will also have napkins and possibly balloons in the kids dept. , and you can buy a bone shaped cookie cutter with recipe for homemade dog bones at a kitchen store. have fun !

PET STORES USUALLY HAVE ITEMS FOR PUPPIES. BUT ACTUALLY YOU CAN GET ITEMS AT WALMART AND SUCH PLACES. OR YOU CAN MAKE YOUR OWN ITEMS. THE BEST ITEMS CANT BE CHEWED UP AND SWALLOWED BY THE PUPPY. FEED DISHES SHOULD BE HEAVY ENOUGH SO THEY DONT TIP OVER SAME WITH WATER CONTAINERS. HEAVY CERAMIC IS GOOD. SOME SPECIAL TREAT BISCUITS WOULD BE A NICE GIFT.

Also, if you call the contact phone number the customer service is really nice b/c it's a small company (i think).
