Last night i was taking pictures with my friend and i wanted a picture of my hamster but we totally forgot about the flash! I swear i didnt mean to not take it off!! but like last night we was walking sideways kind of. and tis morning too. I just got him less then 3 weeks ago and i love him to death!!! Please help!

Will i be able to tell if he is completely blind? Does it go cloudy white when they go blind like humans and other animals??

(if that is the case then i dont think he is blind because its not cloudy)

Twinkie's *my hamster* eyes are normal color and everything by the way.

he was walking around last night fine and on his wheel and eating. my friend and i stayed up til like 1:30 hanging out so. yeah.

my neighbour is quite a scary lady so I don't want to harm the dog in any way at all but just to nudge it in another direction!

I have 2 male american pit bull terriers, and they will be turning 7 months of age in about a week from now. One weights 61 lbs. and the other weights 65 lbs. I just wanted to know if that is okay for their age, and if they will continue to grow in height as well. They both have some muscle tone, but it's not really that much. I know genetics plays a big part on that, but over all, I'd like to know if they will continue gaining weight or growing taller...

I was looking at some puppies on petfinder and one said "she has already been spayed because she weighed in at a whopping 4 pounds"......does that make sense? I thought you were supposed to do that based on how old they were not how much (or how little) they weighed. She is definitely a young puppy and I thought puppies should have that done around 6 months? That just sounds sketchy

They don't contribute to gas, electricity, rent/mortgage, they have free food and veterinary treatment costs them nothing, they have comfortable sleeping arrangments, they get cleaned and dried after being out in the rain, all toys are provided free of charge and they have an abundant amount of treats. If they were people we'd turf them out. Why do we tolerate this from our dogs?
It's because we love them, isn't it?

I was curious if anyone knows how long a basset hound is pregnant for. My Basset is now 30-45 days into her pregnancy. Anyone have any good links for basset hound pregnancy?

I have a 1.5 year old yellow lab who was eating grass for the last couple of days. This morning he vomited and had 1 (looked like spagetty worm) in his vomit and then just grass. I have found no worms in his stool. Does this mean he has worms and should be treated, or maybe injested this one and now is gone? That might sound silly, but there were just no worms in his stool at all. Thanks :)

I am flying out of state to pick up my puppy from the breeder & bring her home. The breeder wants the pups to go at 8wks, unfortunatly we have a vacation planned when she will be 8wks, so I asked if she could stay an xtra week & we will pick her up the following weekend, at 9wks. The only downfall to this option is that I will have the last of the litter instead of getting to pick out of two females. (not really a big deal to me, she will be a family dog and I will love her no matter what)

My sister is also getting a pup from this breeder, & said today she would be willing to pick up hers & mine (pick one for me) & take her for the week until I can come get her. The advantage of this is my sister will have the whole week off to work on potty training, etc.

Sorry this is so long, but here are my questions...

What will be better for the puppy? Would it benefit her to spend an extra week with her mom? Will it confuse her if she is at my sisters home and then mine? Thanks!

Just to give you a little background info: Bailey(my 4 yr old Dal) has been through a lot in the past year. He was my parents dog but my husband and I adopted him after he decided he didn't like one of the other male dogs at my parents'. So we took him from his home and moved him into our apartment with my other Dal (5 yr old female). They were best buddies and he bonded to us quickly. We decided to move back home (up north) and could only have one dog, so I left my female with my parents and took him. This is his 1st time being an only dog and he seems to have a different personality. Lately he has been obsessed with the microwave. He's always staring at it, and it you put something in it, he's up on the counter trying to see what you are doing and what ITS doing. He's fascinated with it. We have the same micro as b4 and he's never acted like this. Someone suggested that it could be leaking radiation and he can sense it (though, its only a few months old). Anyone know what it could be?
