I have a 1.5 year old yellow lab who was eating grass for the last couple of days. This morning he vomited and had 1 (looked like spagetty worm) in his vomit and then just grass. I have found no worms in his stool. Does this mean he has worms and should be treated, or maybe injested this one and now is gone? That might sound silly, but there were just no worms in his stool at all. Thanks :)

Please take him to the vet and have him given worm treatment!! tell the vet what you saw and he will know what worm medicine to give your dog!! Worms can make him very sick so please take him in very soon!!

Good luck

Sounds like intestinal worm but get him checked by a vet for heart worm as well. take a stool sample to the vet.

I think that's a question for your vet instead of a question to post on Yahoo. lol

You should keep the worm and put it in a plastic bag to show the vet. Sometimes they ask you to do that.

I wouldn't be too alarmed because they usually give animals shots for worms now I think. You still should call the vet though and have him seen as soon as possible.

He probably has round worms. My dog vomited a worm once that looked like spagetty. Take your dog to the vet and they will give you deworming medication for him and he'll be fine. (but don't wait to take him)

Most likely he has a lot of worms. Sounds like Roundworm. Take him to the Vet to be properly de-wormed for whatever he has.

He has to have worms in order to expel and adult worm (they can only eat worms eggs). I would take the worm (if you still have it) to the vet and get your dog some de-wormer. It sounds like you dog has roundworms, and you can either get a prescription wormer or an over the counter product. I like SafeGuard, and you can get it at Walmart, Target, Petco, Petsmart, and most farm supply stores.
