They don't *have* to, but chances are much better if they do.

Have you never bred dogs before, I assume this is your first time with your own. It isnt the dog that locks with the bi**h but the other way round, the bit*h's vagina contracts to hold it while she gets the sperm and will not let go until she got what she wants to get pregnant. I would say she got what she wanted and just let go. If you want puppies I hope I am correct but you can try again soon before she goes out of season. If she isnt pregnant she should allow the dog to mate again.

Yes, all dogs have to tie, in order for the female to become pregnant.

Indeed they do. A male dog orgasm's for about 15 or 20 minutes, this is the tying period and it's very unlikely for the ***** to take without a tie. It is dangerous to pull the dog off the ***** because it can injure the dog's genitals. The tying ends naturally. I hope that's helpful

dogs do not need to tie to get pregneat but the tie makes the chances of pregnancy much higher. it depends on the dogs and the time of fertility. a male still releases sperm with out the tie but again the tie makes chances of pregnancy more likely.

Yes they need to tie in order for the female to get pregnant. Also she needs to be two years old the male One year old and they both should have a clear bill of health from the vets.

No dog's of any breed do not have to 'tie' for a mating to be successful. When they don't tie it's called a 'slip mating'.
Some breeders prefer to see a 'tie' but b#tches can still get pregnant from a 'slip mating'
& yes if you are having to ask such a question, you should not be trying to breed your dog!!

No. Dogs do not have to "Lock" in order to get pregnant but if they do "Lock" then you can expect puppies.

Yes, all dogs do. The males sperm is released slowly, so
that is one of the reasons they do lock together.
