Poor baby, take him to the vet and they can give him something made for puppies for fleas. Do not use over the counter stuff on puppies

Minimum recommended age for a flea bath is 8 weeks. I do believe however that Advantage has a new formulation for younger pups but it would be best to check with your vet.
Advantage would be the better treatment because, the flea bath only takes care of the fleas on the dog. Any of the little moochers that are wandering around your house will find the pup and the cycle will start all over again. Advantage will get the ones in the house as well has the ones on the dog.
On average we groomers remind you that for every flea on your dog, there is a thousand eggs ready to hatch in your house.

Check with your Vet for a product to use to treat the puppy because fleas on a puppy can cause anemia. Your Vet can advise you about the safest product to use for this according to your puppy's age and health.
