He is a very large dog with very long hair. I saw a real one that stood over 4 feet tall but nobody believes me. I want to look up his breed but I can't find him in any online encyclopedias.

well her stomach is hard for the past few days

I was reading about this guy who had a dog the dog was outside and a bee or wasp went into his mouth and he died from a stroke because of this. It was so sad reading it. Just wanted to know what were the chance of this acutally happening.

my mom acedenly stepped on my sheltie..and she whined for like 10 seconds. i was about to cry...then she could walk...its been about 4 days or 3..shes walking better...but its still sore. Is she ok??? how long will it be before shes herself again???

Is there anyway to stop this bad behavior. It can't possibly be healthy for him to be doing this. I pick up his mess every time he goes, but he's sneeky and slips bits as soon as they hit the ground. I know its grose.

She is only limping after she has been laying down for awhile. It seems she works it out after she has been walking for awhile, and she quits limping. I was going to bring her into the Vet., but a Vet. Tech friend of mine thought for sure she only had a sprain & they take awhile to heal. It has been about 4-5 weeks now. Do you all think I should bring her in? How long do sprains take to heal anywho? I really need some answers here. Thanks!

I was watching animal planet with my dad the other day and I started thinking about what would happen if we dropped off all the pit bulls (especiall the crazy one) right in the middle of the african safari. Besides the Lions what could destroy them...Hmm..could a lion even destroy a crazy pit bull??? I would love to hear some opinions. Thank you.

I picked up a dog that the vet says she thinks shes full blooded red heeler. She eneded up being pregnant and due soon, no idea what the father is. What will the chances be that they come out the color of the red heeler or the blue heeler.

My new one year old cocker spaniel has "cherry eye" in his right eye. So far I've been told that surgery is the only way to correct it. Either cut it and stitch it, which could lead to dry eye, or push it back in and stitch. Anyone have any experience with this?

We just bought a 12 week old Cavalier puppy. He is so cute!! I wondered what the typical weight for a dog of this age should be. Also, does anyone have a Cavalier puppy that could give me some insight on what to expect. I am hoping for a laid back puppy! He is small, but his body is longer than most toy breeds. His legs are also a little longer. He has been neutered due to a hernia that he had since being a new puppy. I know the standard weight for these dogs can really vary. Is there a method for calculating a dog's size when they are 3 months old?

My puppy is a type that does need to be brushed twice a week. But brushing him is always a long, complicated event because is afraid of the brush and will sometimes back/ run away from it or bark at it or try to attack it. He is 10 weeks old.

o.k., i jsu put the 2 togther like everyone told me to. they have been togther about 24 hrs and just got in a nasty fight that i could not break up! to make it worse, they where by 2 out of my 3 young kids when this happened. how do i stop this b/f one of my kids get hurt? thank you for your help.
