my mom acedenly stepped on my sheltie..and she whined for like 10 seconds. i was about to cry...then she could walk...its been about 4 days or 3..shes walking better...but its still sore. Is she ok??? how long will it be before shes herself again???

She problely isn't hurt bad, is her leg swollen and sore, if it is i would suggest getting an ace bandage and wrapping her leg(not to tight). this will give it support and help it heal faster.

I would like to add keep her from jumping a lot. I know these little Shelties are usually jumpers. If you notice she wants off the couch try and tell her to stay and then you pick her up and set her on the floor carefully. If you have stairs or high bed same procedures. Not all the time but limit jumping up and down as much as possible for the next couple days and it will speed healing. It works perfect for my little min pin and they love to jump too. If I don't limit her jumping it takes a few weeks or more to heal a sore leg.

I would take her to the vet, her little bones are small and could break easily,

Well it will be okay because dogs will allwies be fine i step on my dog and yes he limp for a cuople of days but he is back to normal i swear in about 3 to 4 more days and he will be fine.
