Is it true that a dog can die if they eat chocolate?

Our 3 year old Sheltie, has what we think, is alergies, that cause him itching, mostly of nose & face. The Vet. is giving him Temerol- P which does help, but lately it doesn't seem as effective. We have eliminated anything that we suspect as a cause. i.e. replaced plastic feeding.water bowls with glass, give filtered water, careful to wipe his feet after walks, etc. He scratches, sometimes so hard that he makes wounds on his nose. Any suggestins for either home-care or new options from Vet. will be appreciated.

My chi always brings her toys to my feet to play with. She doesn't go off to the carpet and play, where she would have ample room to entertain herself. Why does she do this? She will chew her bone on top of my shoes, as well. I used to think she wanted to engage me in play, but when I take the toy to toss it, she growls and acts like a nut. Then she goes after it and comes back. Could her behavior be a form of dominance? What can I do to stop this?

He's a 3 month Bichon and is usually great all day. However, every night he turns into Cujo and detroys all of his toys, barks and runs in circles in the kitchen. I can't even let him hang out with us in the living room.

My Boxer has a leg injury today. It's his rear left leg and he can't seem to put weight on it. I felt around on the paw and below the joint - he didn't have pain there. But on the inside of his leg on the upper area there is a knot. What would cause this?

My dog seems to dream alot while he sleeps. He is a big yellow lab named Sammy McBones. We call him Thamm.

What do you think he possibly dreams of? Me giving him a doggie bone? Patting him on the head? Sniffing another dog's butt?

Blessings

My 6 year old dog, has been vomiting up his food (and its a food he's been eating for over a year). He usually vomits it anywhere between 1 to 4 hours after eating, and it does not contain blood. The food is usually almost fully digested. He isn't acting sick, and this happens about 7/10 times after he eats so NOT every time. Anyone know what this could be?! (As a side note, he was kenneled 3-4 weeks ago for a couple days).
