How much does it cost for your first visit to the vet?

I want to get my new pup checked out to make sure she has all the current shots, and vaccinations and make sure shes healthy and advice on what I should feed her. How much does this normally cost?

My vet would charge $45 for that. However, the other vet in town would charge another $10, so it pays to call around.

Depends on where you live. My vet charges $35 for the exam and then whatever it cost for the shots, usually around $20 or so. You can expect to spend at least $50 on the first visit.

About 30-60 $$ Depending where you go. You can sometime find coupons for free exams for first time. You will also need to pay for what ever shots you give them. Deworming, You can go to Petco they have discount shots, cost about 50$ for first set. (Rabies, and 4in1) Then you have to go back for boster which usually is 12-15$. If you have a larger dog will cost more.

I'm in Long Island NY my vet charges $55 for the exam this doesn't include shots, worming etc. She cut my pups nails and plucked the hair in her ears. This is average.

Okay well I live in fla and I just got through paying a vet bill of 159.00 and everything was included except the nail trim and that was 10.00. A little high I thought. but what do i know . it is just that I like this particular vet. Well i hope I helped good luck .

call around.
My vet charges 45.00 for the visit and 1 shot, then every shot is a different price. on average i always plan on spending about 60 to 100.

Sometimes an arm and a leg! In Oz its about $AUD30 a pup and then theres the first injection $AUD75. So it's never just a few dollars.
