Feeding him a kibble with turkey as its base will help a lot. Also, corn causes the pups to have a 'sugar high', so eliminate corn from his diet. Also, food coloring causes hyperactivity.
Canidae has turkey as its second ingredient, and rice as its grain (4th on list of ingredients) and is a good quality, and calming dog food. You will find it at most local pet supply shops.

Staffie x Bull Terrier? A staffie is a Bull Terrier so do you mean Staffordshire Bull Terrier x English or Pit Bull Terrier? Whichever way all Bull Terriers are very feisty and lively.
my partner and I have been into Staffordshire and Pit Bull terriers for years and can honestly say from experience that it takes a few years for them 2 calm down. Plenty of hard exercise and playfighting etc goes some way towards calming them down.

No. I sugest you dont get the mix. Get a sta fforshire bullterrior or a poodle but not a mix like that. That kind ofdog will give bad behavior because a poodle is not even realted to a staff.

He will calm down a bit once he gets older, but they are very excitable dogs, you just need to train him well and make sure he knows that you are top dog. I love their nutty side.

He is still a puppy. You need to get him into an obedience class with other dogs so you can socialize him and get him to learn to calm down and listen to you. Check in your Yellow pages and ask around the Vet clinics to see if they can recommend a club in your area.
