ITYM toxicara canis. You only get this in dog poo if the dog isn't wormed. Most reposnsible dog owners worm their dogs regularly so there is no risk. I have kept dogs for 30 years. My son (now adult) grew up with dogs. You'de think that if there was a chance of going blind we would both have gone blind by now. A little knowledge is a bad thing and you have very little knowledge.
BTW staffies don't get to 15 stone. You would never get OFFERED a cup of tea in my house. You wouldn't even get invited to my house as mentally unstable people are not the sort of people I keep company with dipstick.

Cat toxoplasmosis hangs around in the soil for 10 years. Dog worms are killed in winter by freezing, and die within 1 year of being laid.
If all dog owners could be relied on to poop scoop and worm their pets this country could be freed of dog worms within a couple of years.
All pet owners should clear up after their pets. I don't like cat crap in my garden, I have to wear rubber gloves when I'm gardening.

little lesson for you

How It Spreads
People can catch toxoplasmosis from:

touching or coming into contact with infected cat feces (cats get the infection from eating infected rodents, birds, or other small animals)
eating raw or undercooked meat that's infected
eating uncooked, unwashed fruits or vegetables that have been contaminated by manure
being born with it (a woman who gets a toxoplasmosis infection while pregnant may pass the parasite on to her unborn child through the bloodstream)
Although the infection doesn't normally spread from person to person (with the exception of pregnant women, who can pass it on to their fetuses), in rare instances toxoplasmosis can contaminate blood transfusions and organs donated for transplantation.

Dogs rarely get toxoplasmosis (and when they do get it they get it from cats), but cats commonly do. 99% of all toxoplasmosis problems in humans is contracted from cats. OBGYNs tell pregnant women to get rid of cats, but DOGS ARE FINE to be around pregnant woment. You need to get your facts strait before you start ranting about something.

If you hate dogs so much, go and move to a muslim country and hope you never go blind or deaf and need a guide dog. May you be reincarnated a dog and end up in the hands of a person like to you to suffer.

Well. What a Dickus Headius. Us 'Minging' Dog Lovers wouldn't invite you round for a cup of tea anyhow. But you are welcome to pop round to receive a perfectly justified mauling from my Pit Bull.

It sounds like you have accidentally stepped in some dog sh it and are lashing out. Rein it in a bit will ya?

It's Toxoplasmosis--it comes from CAT feces!!! Be careful of gardening since cat faeces are common in garden soil. It has nothing to do with burying. "Cats excrete the pathogen in their feces for a number of weeks after contracting the disease,"

what a idiot you are . Get your facts right before you ask a question.
Also for your info I own two dogs and every in every jacket I carry poop bags which I use to pick up any poo.
I also worm them regularly so even if they did poo it would not blind kids.
If you will give me your address I would be pleased to send you the bags of poo to you free of charge
