He's a 3 month Bichon and is usually great all day. However, every night he turns into Cujo and detroys all of his toys, barks and runs in circles in the kitchen. I can't even let him hang out with us in the living room.

The reason they do is because they wanna play and haave fun. They notice your starting to calm down and get ready for bed. But, they slept all day so they wanna play. Try giving them a rawhide to chew on everynight as you are getting ready for bed. this will help them lay down and focus on nawing on this rawhide.

Puppies do it and for that matter so do small breeds. They need a lot of exercise. They are trying to burn off extra energy so they to can sleep.

Do you work during the day?
If they are just left alone during the day and aren't played with, they are just building up that energy to unleash (haha) at night.

Also, think about when you are giving him food and adding to the energy.
