It is the weirdest thing - He (BooBoo) starts shaking really bad, and he is unable to control his legs. It happens once a week or so. I call him towards me and he can't even walk. His legs either lift higher than he wants them to, or he can't lift them off of the ground. One time he was slobbering really badly, but like I said - that was only once. It's really sad, and he looks scared. I feel like there is nothing I can do, and it breaks my heart :( Any help would be appreciated. Thank you :)

My daughter has a Lab puppy that seems to be having a tough time with teething. Is there anything that she can do to help him other then the usual chewing toys?

I have a puppy who is half Chihuahua and half Shih-tzu. It's not snowing here, but it's pretty wet outside, and it's in the low 30's. Is it too cold too walk him? I know I'm supposed too walk him, and I've only had him for about a week, so what should I do? Also, where can I find cute shirts for him? He's really little.

I have an 10 mo old maltese (she's 7 pounds) and I am going to have her spayed soon. How much would this cost? I know it wont be exact I just want an estimate. Also, did I wait too long? I dont think shes been in heat but I have no idea! And those of you who work in a vet, my friend said I can drop her off in the morning and tell them I want her that night so that she doesnt have to stay over night is this true? Will there be any harm not leaving her over night? (honest answers please because Im sure the vet is going to try and get me to leave her over night no matter what)

We have small children prone to eczema and I think it would help to keep the dog clean at least when it smells and gets muddy, but my husband is absolutely against it. Does anybody know the definite answer?
Thank you

My dog is very small, a mixture of a minature poodle and a chuiahuhu. The thing is I often have to leave it alone for extended periods of time in a kennel because I live alone and I need to work. When I come home the dog seems to have had an enormous fit. Once I came home and the dog had tried to chew its way out of the kennel, as there was blood on the carpet and inside the kennel from trying desperately to free itself. When I do let it stay out of the kennel there are even more extreme messes everywhere. I have no idea what to do to help my dog remain calm when I am away. I have no one I can have watch the dog or even ideas of who to give it to if it must come to this.

A few weeks ago I brought my sisters dog home with me since she's in and out of the hospital with pre-term labor. He was given to her when a guy could no longer keep him due to moving out of the country. I took him to the vet today to have his shots and heartworm test and the test came back positive. How succesful is treatment? How long does it take? Is there anyway my other dogs can get it other than a mesquito bite? He is a five year old boxer.

I have a six month old male chihuahua. This morning I noticed that his penis looked extremely red. At first I thought there was blood. However, at a closer glance it appears that this area is just sooo red that it looks like blood. He does not seem uncomfortable but I am concerned that it might be an infection. Could this be evidence of a urinary track infection?
