a chemical on the toy could have easily caused this reaction. run it through the laundry with your next load of colors, soak it in hot water for a couple hours and youll be fine. make sure your dog gets lots of water so the chemical wont stay in his system and harm him any more that it already has. if the symptoms persist, call a vet.

oh gosh, a dog who's foaming at the mouth and is very hyper, has rabies. rabies is infectous through bites, so it could be that an infected dog somehow got hold of the toy, and then u bought that toy and gave it to ur odg, and he played with it, and caught the rabies. right now, he's very dangerous, keep him in an EXTRA secure area, and dont even take him anywhere!! call the SPCA if there's one there, or call the main animal control center in your town immediately!!

He is VERY excited. Don't list to these children, your dog doesn't have rabies. Dogs often drool and foam when they see something they REALLY want, like a new toy.

I doubt it's rabies. If you think it seriously could be, look for hydrophobia and aggressive behavior, and damaging behavior to himself.

If he has done it before or it continues, call the vet. a phone call is free.
He could be extremely excited, he could also very well be dehydrated. He could have ate some poison. This is a question for a vet, not YA
