It is the weirdest thing - He (BooBoo) starts shaking really bad, and he is unable to control his legs. It happens once a week or so. I call him towards me and he can't even walk. His legs either lift higher than he wants them to, or he can't lift them off of the ground. One time he was slobbering really badly, but like I said - that was only once. It's really sad, and he looks scared. I feel like there is nothing I can do, and it breaks my heart :( Any help would be appreciated. Thank you :)

Geeze, it's not that he's in pain. I'm not a cruel person. My goodness.

It may be a seizure. I had a dog who did this and it was epilepsy. However, my current dog, a beagle, shakes with tremors, but they aren't so severe that he can't walk. I was told by our vet that they are only tremors like people can have and pets can get them when they age, just like people.

I would have your vet check him out.

It could be a dental problem. Sometimes if a dog has a bad tooth or pain in the mouth, they will shake and tremble and drool.

What do you mean there is nothing you can do? Are you able to take your dog to a vet? It sounds like he needs to be checked out as to why these episodes are happening.

it seems to have a leg deficiency. i think maybe it's bones arent' working right, and it needs a certain kind of brace. it happens commonly in small dogs. i recommend taking him to the vet ASAP, he needs treatment so he can get out of this pain
i wish yall the best of luck :-)

Sounds like he's epileptic. The vet can proscribe meds for this condition once it is properly diagnosed.

This dog needs to get to the vet - no one here should even begin to guess which of the many possibilities is causing your dog' problem. Can't understand why you haven't taken him yet!

You could/should take him to a vet and ask or you can go to a pet store and ask.
