My cat comes back every few days, but he wasn't raised to be an outside cat( for the last year). This has only started recently and if I keep him locked in a room, he pees all over everything. I'm almost resigned to just let him be an outside cat. he seems to leave for 3-4 days then comes back for a day then leaves again. what can i do other then get him neutered?

I've kept my distance from them since I saw them all playing in the parking lot about a week or two ago because I know Mama Cat more than likely won't let me anywhere near her babies, but I loooove watching them play. All of the kittens are absolutely adorable and I'm now worried that they may get hurt. The people in my apartment complex aren't exactly the world's best drivers (there are a few people who park in spots that aren't even parking spaces, if that tells you anything **rolls eyes**), and I'm scared that I'm going to walk outside one day to a run-over kitten :-(
I'm a little if-y about calling the animal shelter because I'm afraid they'll put Mama Cat and her babies to sleep. I already have a VERY territorial cat of my own so I can't take them in myself. What should I do about Mama Cat and her kittens?

Our kitten is very sweet, but our big problem with her is that she cries and whines. If we lock her out of the bedroom, she will sit outside the door and cry and meow ALL NIGHT. We do not want to let her in because she will wake us up all night by pouncing on us or pawing at us.

All the training stuff we've read has said to quickly open the door and squirt her with water. We do that, and she just comes back two minutes later crying more because she's wet.

What can we do to stop this behavior?

My 5 year old orange tabby was stolen and taken to a animal pound 150 blocks away!!!! By the time I found out what happened to him he had been sent to a petsmart and adopted.!! It's going on 2 1/2 weeks without my beloved cat and seem to have lost hope of getting him back! The shelter is saying that it's a binding contract and will not help me get him back!! The animal pound is still the responsible for the cat and not petsmart (what petsmart informed me) Does anyone know of anything I can still do?!?!?!?! my family and myself will do anything to get him back!!!!

I have 5 1/2 acres of land with a party barn. These cats that come around sleep in the barn and at nights attempt to tip my trash over. I don't want to shoot them, I feel to bad killing the cats, but If i could catch them with a trap and drive them away, how and what kinds of traps do you think will work. I already killed one stary, and i felt to bad to do it again, so killing is out of the question.

Well, its the third week in with Ringworm on my 7 wk. old Persian Kittens. its spreading, not getting better. I used the tresaderm, dermazole,lotrimin,miconazole,,iodine.. you name it. I ordered a lyme dip which is coming. It's all over their faces. spots on back and under bellies.. feet, Its terrible. I'm calling the vet today to get oral treatments if she'll prescribe them. Knock on wood I havent got it yet. But I'm sure I will. Nothing is working. Are you guys sure this goes away? I'm starting to have doubts. I'll keep working on it,, but gosh its frustrating. Its important to play with them and all at this age.. I am afraid to touch them..But I do anyway.. I cant help it..

It is sort of almost feral or just used to living outdoors. My 80+ yr old neighbor has been feeding it outside for years (she already has 2 cats and a dog inside). I took it home and gave it a bath (it bit my hand so bad that I had to get antibiotics). It has since let me brush it. I kept it inside for a couple of weeks after the bite and took it in one other time for a week, but it is anti-social with my other cats and the last time it pooed twice on my kitchen table (nasty). It meows a lot, but when you get close it runs slightly out of reach. Accepts food if you are not close enough to catch her. She meows a lot indoors or out. Not sure why. My other neighbor feeds her sometimes too.I give her dry food and water outdoors now and the other neighbor gives her moist food, like the 80 year old neighbor does.

This morning I noticed that my cat peed on my bedspread. I do not know if she has done this before except when she was a kitten. However, that was when she had worms so I excused that. Is this a sign of marking territory, lack of respect, behavior problem, or what? How can it be corrected? Her litterbox is clean. Patches is a two year old, female, short hair cat. Thanks for your time.

Is it hard for you to grow?
I think they pretty attractive plants.
nice aroma.
But
I have been in Seattle since 1989 and have done a lot of yardwork around town. And people in Seattle just LOVE their gardens.
Gardenyist place I ever been in.
But I don't think I have seen catnip as large as those in friends garden.
They gotta be three feet tall and wide...they just grow and grow.
and a couple of neighborhood cats LOVE to roll around in it.
Does that sound large for catnip?

My momma cat had kittens and got fleas when outside (hasn't been outside for awhile) and now the kittens have them. I don't see them anywhere except on the cats, but I still need to treat them as well as the house. I know many have said to use Frontline on the cats, but have you ever heard of using peppermint oil for the house? I read that fleas hate it and so it repels them (maybe kills them). If you know anything about this, please let me know. Just curious for a home remedy.

I have a heavy infested house full of fleas....I hired an exterminator Friday the 5th to get rid of the fleas and they are still there! Is there anything else I can do to get rid of them? I have tried borax and the flea bombers and nothing is working. I heard you can put mothballs in the vacuum bag to kill the adult fleas that hatch inside the bag or that you suck up...does this really work? Is it even safe...I keep hearing mixed opinions. I also heard that after vacuuming you can wrap the vacuum bag in another plastic bag and place it in the freezer to kill all of the existing fleas. Does this method work? Please let me know asap!! I am deperate for any help...They keep biting me and leaving opened wounds on my skin. Any help will do. Thank you!

I have 2 cats (gizmo & princess) and I want to get rid of princess because she has a mouth infection, she needs to be fixed, a Urinary Tract Infection, she needs all of her shots, also she has had a miscarriage and the vet said she needed to be fixed asap or she could become ill or pass away. Also, I don't have the money to take her to the vet. She does not get along with other animals, other my dog and other cat. She was a stray and shes only about 1 year old. Princess needs more than I can give and I think that is the mature way to handle it because maybe someone else can get her the help she needs.Gizmo doesn't have any of these problems and gets along with other animals. I've also had gizmo longer. Besides I can only handle one cat. (Money wise). what would you do? Which cat would you get rid of? please help

Many years ago my cat escaped from the cage just after seeing the vet.
We searched around for 1h and could not find him.
A week later we found the cat at home!
Both villages are like 3 miles apart and there's many road intersections and fields, it is not an easy and straight road

How is such a miracle possible?
Do they use the wind? rivers? magnetism?
I am looking for a scientific answer, because I found
a similar post a year ago saying they have a good
sense of direction, but that does not explain anything
