domestic cats would have to be the Siamese, and the wild Cats would have to be the Siberian Tigers.

The Largest cat in the world is the Siberian Tiger averaging about body and tail: 2000 - 3750 mm (6.6 - 12.4 feet)
weight: males 180 - 306 kg (400 - 675 lbs) (females are smaller). However there have been crossbreeds such as ligers and tigons that have been even bigger.

In overall length and height the largest breed of domestic cat is the Maine Coon Cat. Maine Coons have the distinction of being the only 'native' american breed of domestic cat having decended from excaped cats brought over by European imigrants when the US was first colonized. These cats went feral, surviving harsh winters and making physical adaptions in order to survive. I have heard that males can obtain the weight of 30 pounds, but that may just be hearsay. However their long thick coats, lion-like appearance, and extrodinary long and heavily plumed tails add to the overall 'large cat appearance.....they make great companions as breed cats go but must be treated as the dignified New Englander they are. A Maine Coon Cat is not typically a lap cat, but will sit next to his/her chosen companion and will always be near him/her....
....another large breed of domestic cat is the Norwegian Forest Cat....check the web for pix of these beautifull breeds...

I'm assuming that you mean the largest domestic house cat, right? I heard of a cat that weighed a whopping 35 pounds--over twice what my big cat Felix weighs (16 pounds).

Largest as in tall or largest as in heavy?
There is a hybrid called a liger (lion + tiger) that would probably qualify for both categories.

Siberian Tiger.
But if I am not mistaken, occasionally "ligers" can get even bigger. a Liger is a cross between a tiger and a lion, due to human intervention, I belive. THere's just a few of them in captivity..
