So here's the history of my cat: She's always been an outside cat....she's getting older and more weak, so we make sure she gets atleast 2 meals a day of wet food.

Well lately, she has been screaming to get inside the house, and when she does get in, she wants right back outside....AND she won't stop eating, literally we can feed her 3 meals a day of wet food, plus she just ate half a can of canned chicken and she's STILL begging for more food! She won't stop harassing us, all day long!

What could be wrong with her?

My five year old male cat had sx 24 hrs ago to remove crystals from a full bladder. His prognosis was great-no iv's needed and blood work good. Had catheter removed and urinated at vets office a couple times and ate. Took him home last night around seven and cat urinated seven times since eight this morning (good hardy clumps too). It's now almost twelve hours later, and he only urniated once and it wasn't that big (but didn't look like just a little "drip". Gave him his antibotics as well as an anti-inflammatory for his genitals. Vet said it's extremely important to watch the next five days b/c he's prone to block again quickly. Please let me know if he's just sore or if he could be blocking again. His temper seems normal and he's eating his special diet food. However, he hasn't had a bowel movement for a couple days.

My 10 year old neutered male cat won't stop peeing around the house!! He doens't go in his litterbox (which is cleaned daily) but he'll go poop in it.We also have 1 dog who he's never had a problem with.(no other pets)

Here's a list of the things we've tried to get him to stop:
-double sided tape
-baking soda/viniger were he pees
-tin foil
-putting something in the way of where he wants to pee (someitmes works)
-it's not the kitty litter or box. he started this habit about a year ago and we've had him for 10 years and he's never had a problem with it.

Health::
-We've had him tested at the vets for leukimia, crystals, and other respitory diseases. The numerous tests all came out negative
-he's an indoor cat!

PLEASE HELP! My mom says we have to put him down if he doesn't stop!!!also none of those nature's miracle sprays or anything work!

my new cat- Lola. just tested positive for feline luekemia virus. we have had her here in our home with our older resident cat since july. she was tested before i adopted her for feline luekemia and came up negative. well she just tested positive. im worried about my older cat, Cheyenne. she is 12 and doesnt seem to be sick, but i read luekemia can hide. Lola and Cheyenne have been in contact since july 2007. and now lola has the luekemia. what can i do here? we are waiting on the test on cheyenne if its positive or negative. the vet said many older cats immune systems will fight off the virus, where as lola was born with it apparently and even gave it to her kittens. im worried about cheyenne. we dont want to get rid of lola b/c she will probably be put down. but what do i do to keep cheyenne from getting sick? she has shown no signs.... imso lost... if anyone has experience with this please help thankyou

I was just wandering if there are any places that will put a cat down for free. Or for under 10 dollars. Or at lease a place where they will look at her for free. Thanks...

I have 2 kittens that are currently 5 mo. 3 wks old. Both kittens have been teething for a few weeks now. We provide them with straws to chew on. They also like biting the edges of cardboard boxes. For about two weeks now, they have decided to gently bite our hands. We discourage this by telling them NO and pushing them away. We want to be sure that both the kitties don't confuse play fighting with each other and spending time with us. Is this just a stage of teething that will pass?

Also the first 2 months that we have had them, they have allowed me to check their paws and claws. They also allowed me to trim their claws without struggling at all. I have been trimming every 1-2 weeks. I usually trim their claws while they are grooming themselves. Could it be that they have finally noticed me trimming their claws? Now, they pull their paws away and bite us.

Why the changes?

I have 2 8-month old female cats. Both shed and they get on my shelves where I have folded clothes.
What's the best way to get the cat hair off clothes? Do I have to have them cleaned? Throw them out? Throw the cats out?

I have a 8 month girl cat. She does not go exploring outside, like in the grass. She goes on a covered porch. There is a shot that you can can give her so she does not get it, or something like that. I am wondering if the shot is worth it, if she needs it i will get it no problem, but the next time she goes is in Feb. when she gets the other shots. Will she get from another cat? Thanks

I would like to get my cat microchipped if he isn’t already. The problem is, I don’t know if he is or not. I got him from a shelter that no longer exists. I THINK they used to microchip all the dogs and cats they found homes for, but nothing was said about that when I adopted my cat. Here are my questions:

1) IF my cat does have a microchip, would that mean he is on file with a registry somewhere?
2) If I take him to a vet who has a scanner for microchips, would they be able to scan my cat and find out if/where he’s registered and what information is on file?
3) If he is registered somewhere, and the information about who owns him, address, etc., is incorrect, how can I get the information corrected!

I’ve read about a zillion webpages on microchipping pets, but no one ever seems to address questions like these!

I have three 3 week old kittens whose mother has been raising them well. I was wondering if there is anything that i need to do to help the weaning process, or if i should just let them do their thing.

I have a doggy door for my small chihuahua (Sharky) and my neighbor's cat, Brutus, keeps getting in. He has a habit of sneaking in and eating the mice we raise to feed our 12 boa constrictors. Brutus is twice the size of my Sharky - my dog hides from it because he keeps getting beaten up.

I was thinking about letting a few of the larger boas loose in the house to teach Brutus a lesson, but that would complicate things since my wife is raising "free-range" guinea pigs and I'm afraid the snakes would eat them.

What should I do?
