Wow...they only had 1 kitten? That sure is unusual. If you only have one cat it would be nice to have a buddy for the other, though only if your parents want it. They will be doing some of the work and when you get older they will be the one with the cats left at home so make sure they will take care of it.

Keep it and get it neutered and get the mother fixed. You would have a hard time selling it,as yellow tabby kittens are everywhere, and giving it away isn't a good idea, either,as whoever takes it may just want it for their pit bulls to practice on.there are so many kittens in this world that are unwanted. Please don't add to the problem, have the mom cat and her kitten fixed asap, and keep mom in the house until then,so she won't get pregnant again.

If it's just one kitten out of the whole litter, I'd just keep it, it's not like it's 4 or 5 kittens. But, if you are interested in giving it away, try selling it instead, for like 5 or 10 dollars. That way you know that your animal will go to a good home. The odds of someone spending money on an animal just to take it home and abuse it is slim. If they actually have to pay money for the animal, more than likely it will go to a good, non-abusive home! :)

It's a good idea to keep it. The cat might get upset and so would the kitten if they got separated. Plus: It would keep your other cat company!

Well, if you want another cat, keep, if you don't care and want some cash, sell it, but make sure it goes to a good home. Do an interview w/ people.

If it's your cat, and YOUR kitten, then it's YOUR decision, not your parents. As long as you care for it, and get him and his mommy fixed, your parents will probalby be fine with it.
