I would at least call the vet to see if there is reason for concern.

Yes. You should definitely take him to the vet. Blood coming from anywhere on an animal is not good. I cannot tell you how many times people wait to bring in their dogs or cats because they think it will just go away. If it reoccurring, there is something wrong. If you let it go, infection can happen and even surgery is sometimes required.

take him to the vet he could have internal bleeding
trust me i've helped alot of cats with this same problem just
go to the vet

Run, don't walk. Blood from anyone in the poop is serious. Please - take him to the vet as soon as you can.

definitely! He might have a parasite, or he might have torn his GI tract.
