There is a VERY easy fix for this. GET HER SPAYED!!!! Beleive me you will BOTH be happier in the long run. Cats are annoying as heck when they are in heat. For her to have kittens at this time of her life would be stressful and could possibly kill her. If you have to price compare vets in your area, do it, but get it done!!!! A cat can have her first heat around 5 months so it is a possibility that she is pregnant. Please please please don't contribute to pet overpopulation!

Dogs get a period but cats don't. If she was in heat, then yes, being out that long some tomcat would have found her and she's probably pregnant. At six months she's sexually mature enough to have kittens, but it's not going to be good on her body to do that.
A vet can spay her right now, even if she is pregnant, as it's not that far along yet.

Cats go into heat at age 6 months. She was probably acting crazy because she was in heat. If she was able to stay out all night she most likely found a mate. You need to take her to a vet As Soon As Possible to check. If she is pregnant please take care of the kittens (give them good homes, feed, give them water- don't just dump them on some one's yard). Remember if she is pregnant these kittens are your responsibility. If your very says she isn't pregnant get her fixed proto. Cats who aren't spayed are loud and irrating during heat cycles. Also cats that aren't spayed have more health problems. Trust me its much better for you and your cats health to get her fixed A.S.A.P!
Please get her fixed now if she isn't pregnant or later (after she has the kittens). The pet population is terrible problem. Don't contribute to our problem.

I suspect she is in heat. Cats don't get what is known as periods, but go into heat. Unless you want to deal with kittens (which, if you follow this forum, create lots of problems, not the least is trying to find homes), get her to a vet and have her spayed. Six months is plenty old to be able to get pregnant.

She sounds like she is in heat right now to be honest - some cats go really crazy when in season ... Try to keep her in for the next few days, until she goes back to normal - then take her straight to the vets to be spayed.
They can do it when she is just in the early stages of pregnancy, but not when she is actually in season.
I'm not surprised she got out - a cat in heat is the worlds best escape artist! :-)

At 6 months it's possible for a female to get pregnant. Get her spayed. You don't want to deal with heat cycles and health problems and she will be healthier and happier in the long run.

If you don't plan to keep any or all of the kittens, have her spayed immediately. She is not too young..my cat was 6 months old with a belly fully of kittens when we had her done.

she is probably acting crazy & wanted to get out cause she is in heat. if she was out all night it is very likely she found a mate. which means she could be pregnant. if she is be sure to get her fixed after the kittens. if she isn't pregnant get her fixed now!

one among my cats sits via the backdoor and meows any time he knows the neighbor's cat is sitting out on my patio. he's a strictly indoor cat, yet he nevertheless thinks the backyard belongs to him. that's a territorial factor. Your cat would have purely been ticked that there became into yet another animal around, and delivered it out on the 1st factor that got here close to him... your arm.
