Does anyone know if friskes wet cat food has been recalled?

Hi everyone!

So, I'm just wondering what toys your cats love that perhaps you've either made yourself or hadn't intended them to play with?!

My kitten's favourites are (in order):
1. Scrunched up crisp packet
2. Carrier bag
3. Toilet roll tube cut into little rings
4. Pens

Hehe ;-) Thanks! xx

Hi, i just have a few questions about my two cats! They are both about a year and 4 months old and they are both male. They are strictly house cats coz I live in an apartment.
1. One of my cats loves eating house lizards. Are there any side effects from eating too much of them?
2. My cat's have started to 'mark territory' which leads me to believe that they are at a 'mature' stage but I am scared to get them fixed coz I heard that cats stop interacting and being affectionate with their owners once they get nurtured. Is there any basis to this...? coz i keep puttin the vet appointment off.
3. As I said abv, they are at a mature stage. One of my cats has started to 'molest' my other cat, altho he doesnt actually get anything done. How can i stop my cat from doing this?
4. I feed them Iam's Adult Original Dry Food. One of them keeps barfing. I can't really tell if it's hairball but its usually brown and with a lot of liquid. Wat exactly is this?

Thanks for your help! :D

My 1 1/2 year old cat has urinated on my comforter twice while I was in the bed. We moved about 4 months ago, and he has been to the vet for a UTI, but that seems to have cleared. He also only likes to hang out with us in the bed. Is this a psychological problem or is there a more insidious medical condition?

I'm having an issue with mice every so often. I live in a somewhat marshy area and my house is surrounded by shrubs & ivy, so maybe that's why. I had an exterminator out and he plugged up openings where they may be getting in. I keep a clean house, so I'm really at my wits end.

I've never had a cat, but I'm thinking of getting one so I don't see any little "Mickies". Do cats really keep mice out of the home? Or, is that an old wives tale?

Thanks!

My kitty who is around 9 months old has recently started playing obsessively with my cabinet doors. She has plenty of toys and we play often. Any ideas as to why and what I can do to make her stop? I lock her up at night in the bathroom and she plays with the doors in there too for a long time.

He is an eight year old siamese cat that loves scratching the carpets and couches but won't get near a scratching post.

She seems alright, she plays around, she goes to the bathroom, she doesn't seem depressed or anything like that. It's just that everytime I open a can of wet food she just eats a lil bit and then she stops and leaves the rest there...

I tried changing the food brand but didn't work. I tried to change the water bowl just in case, I tried changing the food bowl, I even tried giving her treats before she would eat...NONE OF THAT WORKED!

I just adopted the sweetest cat from a shelter. They think she is about 2 yrs old, and she was abandoned by her previous owner because she was going to have kittens. She is white on the bottom with orange and black patches.. (Half of her face is orange, and the other half is black.. so cute!) She also has a little beard-looking patch of fur that comes to a piont under her chin!! I want a kind of unique name, and I can't think of one to fit her for the life of me!! Help me I'm desparate!

I am the proud owner of an 8 mo old, tiger, calico kitten. She is a scrapper with a great temperment and is extremely and constantly curious, so naturally, this has "backfired" on her occasionally. Recently, in her curiousity, she knocked a pot down hanging near her food dish, and as expected, she is now frightened of that area. She eats, but is very cautious to do so with any noise around the kitchen. I'm worried b/c although she is progressively doing better, she was sick when young and it was hard enough to get her to eat initially, so I am worried this might recur. Any thoughts??

One cat is overweight and the other is not. I have been told to only leave food out twice per day- some in the morning and some in the evening so the overweight cat will not eat on and off during the entire day. How can I do this with two cats use to eating out of the same bowl?

My cat is declawed so he cannot go outside. The vet has told us that he is too "difficult" to examine because he bites the vet when we take him but my cat appears to be in very good health for his age. Please help because we don't know where else to turn.

My cat is roughtly 11 years old and somewhat spoiled. Throughout her life we have fed her two packets of tender vittles and as much dry cat food (meow mix hairball control) as she desired. She has been very happy and the vets tell us she is healthy. What is a relatively soft catfood that may replace tender vittles for our cat?

We recently adopted a half-siamese cat that is heavily pregnant. Her previous owner said that she should have her babies anyday. I didn't think she looked very large, but now she is huge!! I am nervous because I have never had a cat have kittens, and also because I have no way of knowing what her due-date should be. I have contacted my vet. He says that there is no need to bring her in since she has been vaccinated. He told me that cats rarely have problems delivering, with the exception of the Persian breed.

While doing research, I read that Siamese cats usually have more kittens in each litter. Does anyone know this to be true? I am worried about Cookie, and I really wish that I knew when she would be close to delivery. I have found homes for 3 kittens, and she will be spayed after the kittens are finished nursing!

I've never had a cat before, but I've had a lot of dogs. I just got a kitten a couple weeks ago, and she licks me constantly while I'm petting her. If I leave my bedroom door open when I've gone to bed, she'll jump on my bed and lick my face!!! She doesn't lick anything else, only me, and only while I pet her. How do I get my kitty to stop licking me???

lost your cat or dog due to this neglect of the company owners? I feel mad and sick over this, my kids are still crying and it's been a week and a half now. I am so mad. I feel like a murderer for feeding our beloved pet.

Okay, afew months back my girlfriends cat died. And even now we are both so stumped as to what had happened. The cat wasn't even a year old yet. When I left, he was fine. And as I was leaving tried to sneak out. I left the door unlocked for 3 hours Then my girlfriend got home and found him laying by the stove. His eyes red, his back broken, leg broken and couldn't move. If someone could help me make sense of this it would be greatly appreciated.

i have 2 fixed male cats. they sometimes go outdoors. there is another male cat that has been spraying all over the outside of my house, bbq, patio set etc. he also howls loudly on my deck. one day our recycling was outside, it was snowing, the other cat sprayed it (we didn't know at the time), the recylcing guys didn't come, we brought the blue box back into the house, put it in the carpeted hallway where it always goes, the small amount of snow melted, then my cat or cats started peeing on the carpet. i have used the carpet cleaner 3 times, sprayed it with neutralizing stuff, used sol-u-mel, but my cats keep peeing. its right near a heat vent, so when the heat comes on, the whole house smells! please, can someone help me????
