how can i stop my 2 year old cat from picking on my 7 year old cat. i have tried to squirt it with water but that doesn't work. please help. i am affraid i might come home and my older cat will have died from a heart attack.

the younger cat probably just wants to play and the older cat does not the cat knows how far it can go due to the pecking order

The 2 year old one obviously just wants to play...maybe it wants to be the dominate one in the household, by picking on the 7 year old.
They will be fine...

Your kitty is being a little brat and she or he likes to tease and bug your other cat keep the them apart maybe she or he wants to play too good luck
