We recently adopted a half-siamese cat that is heavily pregnant. Her previous owner said that she should have her babies anyday. I didn't think she looked very large, but now she is huge!! I am nervous because I have never had a cat have kittens, and also because I have no way of knowing what her due-date should be. I have contacted my vet. He says that there is no need to bring her in since she has been vaccinated. He told me that cats rarely have problems delivering, with the exception of the Persian breed.

While doing research, I read that Siamese cats usually have more kittens in each litter. Does anyone know this to be true? I am worried about Cookie, and I really wish that I knew when she would be close to delivery. I have found homes for 3 kittens, and she will be spayed after the kittens are finished nursing!

all breeds tend to have more kittens with each pregnancy. pretty normal stuff. if she looks like a big ball then most likely the kittens are going to be big. if she has problems with her delivery she will let someone know by meowing and rubbing up on them and lying down and licking the area, also a sign of delivery.

My Siamese cat had at first 2 beautiful kittens that were adorable then she had more in each littler. don't worry the cat will let you know when she is to deliver just by her actions and the way she moves don't worry let nature take its course
thank you

i had a siamese that had 2 litters before we got rid of her because she was mean to the new baby we had. but with each litter she had 4-5 babies. i dont know if this is true but i heard that you can count her nipples and that is the most kittens she will have...?? i dont know i guess that seems logical but its just hearsay.
