When cats get the big round eyes and the dialated pupils like that, it usually means they are stalking something. He's pretending to hunt you.

I agree with the other people, get him checked out just to be sure.

Also keep in mind that you may need some better cat toys, you don't want him to associate you with prey, and it that's what you're doing when playing then he'll think it's fine to treat you as such. Get some good cat toys to play with him, something on a string that you can move around for him to hunt.

Also, get a water bottle with a spray attachment(set to squirt), or a water gun, and spray him if he's bad, it's the only real way to discourage cats and train them. You can also if you're good grab him by the nape which should instantly calm him down, but this can be tricky.

You can also try changing his mood with catnip or a treat, just make sure to say the word "catnip" or "treat" whenever giving him some, so that when you say those things to him he knows what he's getting, and he should change moods quick.

Hope this helps. But don't forget to take him to a vet just to be safe.

Best of luck to you.

We have a little monster too. She can actually be very sweet then she will just start biting. She only likes my husband, my parents and myself. Anyone else that comes in the house she meows, hisses and tries to bite. It is like she has two different personalities. The only thing I can think of is that since she is such a small cat, she might have been the runt of the litter and now has a bad disposition. Sorry, not much help, but I can relate!

My friend had a cat like that. If you stole its seat it would bide its time till you came near it then bam! Eventually the cat became so feral that they had to let it go. We believe it father was fer rile and she eventually just gave in to her wild side. Or maybe it was so spooked by the hurricane that it has never recovered.

That's really scary. I mean if he keeps on behaving that way, why won't you give him to an animal shelter because his behavior won't improve? Or if you don't want to, bring him to the vet, something may be wrong with him and he's trying to tell you about it. Good luck.

You may consider checking with the vet, and if you have the right vaccination for distempered cat.
Definitely something is wrong.

He could have a medical problem you should call the vet and talk to him about this behavior. Or maybe it is stress.
