She has always been an indoor cat and we had her since she was a kitten. She got out by accident. We have searched all over for her and this is one big city. Will she be able to find her way home? Or will she be lost? We are very worried.

A friend of mine recently got a siamese cat, I was told by another friend that siamese cats are meat eaters, do they require meat in their diet or can they just have regular dry cat food?

I recently adopted a 3 year old cat. When she uses her litter tray she does not dig the litter to bury it, but instead she tries to dig the sides and roof of the tray (it's a hooded tray - this is what she used at her previous home).
Anyone have an explanation for this and how do i get her to bury her mess as it is very smelly uncovered?
Could it be she doesn't like the brand of litter?

( for the people who answered to my first question, thanks this is for yall cause i still need help)
before i went to school this morning, my dog was hanging around the box i kept the kittens in, so i moved the box & the mommy down stairs and shut the door. but when i came back after school they were gone. she was acting as if she never had them, i went down there and tried to let the cat lead me to the kittens, but she just sat there and did nothing. i admit she is pretty young, and i dont know if she kill them and hid them or ate them...but she had one in her mouth this morning, but i think she was just carrying it around. please help i am so scared for those kittens. they are all gone! VANISHED!

I got my cat from Cats Protection and they do not vaccinate against cat lukeimia, or FelV. So when I got her I took her right away to the vet for the first FelV injection. Tonight I found a lump in between her shoulder blades where she was injected. The lump is floating, so it is not attached to the muscle or skin. I am taking her to the vet to have it checked, but I just wondered if it could be her injection.

Also she has a microchip, so could it be this aswell?

Any light on this prob will be greatly appreciated.

We have a cat that is about a year old and just got a kitten that is 12-13 weeks old. The issue we are having is that the kitten seems to have attached itself to our other cat. Everywhere our older cat goes, the kitten is right on his heels. We have to hold are kitten just for the older cat to use the restroom. When we separate the two cats, the kitten just whines and whines and whines. If she can't see the older cat she continues to whine. Please help with suggestions and ideas. Will this behavior soon stop? We are worried that the kitten will get into a bad habit and not be independent.

My cat, Honey, just had 3 kittens 2 nights ago. I went to school the next day, came back and they were fine. But the next day when I went off to school, I came back and they were no where to be found. And my cat was acting like she never even had kittens. I don't know where they are, or what happened. Someone if you know anything that could help me find them please help me. Thank you, I really don't want these poor kittens to starve and die cause we can't find them!

After reading several posts in this section, I decided to try Innova EVO for my cat. I ordered from Pet Food Direct, but it took a week before it even shipped, then another week to get here. So far, he seems to like it. Anyone know of a better source? I can't buy it locally.

People keep saying declawing a cat is equivilant to removing the first diget of your fingers. Last checked, cats don't use their paws as hands, but more as feet. many people have has entire toes amputated and they do just fine.

I do agree, though, that the procedure should not be done on any cat. Claws are the first form of deffence for a cat, and without them they're damn near helpless. That and I detest altering animals for stupid reasons, this goes along with cropping and docking *though there have been good reasons, such as long and powerful tails that could be broken if the dog got too happy.* If your furniture is more important than your cat, then buy yourself a furry automan and give the cat to someone who cares.

Has anyone noticed a pattern and/or "attitude" when kitty yawns? Example, when I compliment kitty, (beautiful girl, pretty girl, etc.), she follows with a big pink yawn, & squeezes her eyes as if she's either embarrassed, or already knows it. I've never seen her yawn at any other time. I'd enjoy hearing your experience (if any) with this, or any other "idiosyncrasies" you might want to share. Cat "stories" are the greatest! (If anyone feels compelled to say anything nasty about cats, I will be on them like ugly on an ape--sorry this was necessary.) Thank you & cheers...

in this video im playing with kittens de-clawed 3 days before this video was taken. does it seem they are in agony? i think not. they actually were much active even before the video was taken an they are happy an healthy to this day. so it does not take weeks or even days for a cat to recouperate. some people need to stop being so dramatic

I was in the kitchen making dinner and was in and out of the cupbords when I noticed the cat by one of them. My Boyfriend must have placed a rat poison pellet try to try to rid us of mice. I did not see the cat eat any, but there was a pellet right next to her, so I'm assuming she mush have.
What should I look for if she's going to get sick? Should I take her to the Vet? please keep in mind we don't really have a lot of funds for an expense like that, especially if it's a false alarm.
