Go to http://www.menufoods.com/recall/product_cat.html and see if it is on the list.

Everything from the Purina company (including Friskies) is completely SAFE. I know I freaked out when I first heard about this issue, frantically searching the Internet for the list of tainted foods. I'm thrilled Purina is not involved and I intend to be a customer with them for life.

No. None of the Friskies canned cat food is on recall. Purina recalled only one of its products: "Mighty Dog" pouch.

I fed my cats Friskies as soon as I saw the list of recalled pet food. They are fine.

Cats are dessert animals in origin. The whole fish thing came from us thinking it was cute. They used to eat rats, bugs, birds and reptiles. They enjoy fish know and then but should not have a diet only consisting of that it depleats them of Vitamin E. Friskies is a really crappy band and should not be trusted. Please check out www.natura.com and www.canidae.com for some stores near you with much better food and comparable in price to CRAP commercial food.
