My cay is walking funny and has weird mood swings. Every one I have talked to says they think she has Distemper but I want to know for sure. All I know is its deadly & there is no cure for it.

Pet Connection is a site where there a lot of information about the recalled cat food and dog food and thats where people can go to get help that they need about what is going on. It also has a help link where you report your dog or cat sick and they will pay the vet bill. I has a lot of information more then the other sites or news.

My heart always breaks when I see a stray cat living behind a building, in an alleyway, or underneath a wooden patio; hungry, crying because it hasn't eaten in days. Sometimes, it's partially blind or crippled because of an unfortunate accident, or because some sick a**hole has been throwing rocks at it. It tears me up inside. "But what about people"? You might ask. Don't you care about people? Sure I do! But a lot of people are perfectly capable of getting a job--any job. But they don't want to. They want to sit around on their butt, and wait for a government handout. I'm not saying that every homeless person is like that, but many are. Cats can't apply for a job. Millions of them suffer and die every year through the world. So what is really being done to help THEM? If you hate cats--or ANY animals, don't bother posting a snide remark. If you do, I'll only report you.

myself and my neighbour are both cat owners. My cat has been into the neighbours house severl times as she leaves her front door wide open and also has a cat flat. she has complained that our cat is fighting with hers. i have asked perhaps she could keep her cat flat closed which she refuses. we now only let our cat out for half an hour a day only and have been keeping a cat diary of these time.she thinks our cat should be kept inside 24 hours a day but her cat should have free run of the unti complex. Now she has got a trap to trap our pet - i dont know what to do? i have gone to the body corporate and also contacted the council but would like to hear some good suggestions/points i can bring up at the meeting we will have to have with the neighbour and body corporate. Any ideas would be most welcome. Thanks

I let my cat walk around in the hallway
(supervised) tonight before I read on the wall that the rodenticide Bromadiolone was sprayed yesterday. My questions:
The cat sniffed around. When I got back upstairs, I wiped his feet and mouth with a wet cloth just in case. Then he, of course, licked his paw. Is walking around the day after the stuff was put down/licking his paw after only being washed with water enough to poison him? He didn't eat anything.
Please only answer if you are confident your answer is correct. Thanks.

My cat was recently fixed about a month or so ago.. He was fine for a couple of days, but now I catch him peeing in the most unusal places, and all he does is sleep now.. Im not sure if it's a UTI, or what the deal is.. I currently give him specail kitty dry food from walmart, and I know they had the big recall, but just on the pouch kind for that brand.. Any input would be helpful.. Thanks

Hi about 11 weeks ago my 8 month old kitten got killed by a car. I have now got a female cat (Animal sancutary says about 9 months old) I think she maybe 1. We have had her a month now and have decided not to let her out due to the obvious dangers that are out there, which we stupidly didn't think of before with our other cat. She seems very depressed and tries to get out of the windows and escape through the door. I feel so awful not letting her out but i have a four year old who was devasted when our other cat got killed and i can't risk it again for him , myself and most importantly the cat. She has lots of toys, lovely warm bed, scratch post, wet and dry food and water and lots of cuddles and playtime with us. What would suggest in this situation ,as im really worried about her. I know she was found stray thats how the animal snacutary got her so i know she has been outside. Please help its making me really upset. Honest answers please

He is 3 years old, and he has never done this before. He is an orange tabby named Punkin. Two fridays ago, my cat began to meow at me. I knew something wasn't right, but no matter what I did, he kept on meowing. Then he puked three times. Now I have to clean up puke, poop, and diareah on the floor almost every day. He eats purina cat chow, and I am almost positive that it's not on the pet food recall list. My mom said he ate some plastic a little while ago, and that might be the problem. But there are also a lot of plants in our house that could be poisonous to cats, and we often have to shoo him from chewing on the leaves. But I am not sure, and we can't afford to bring him into the vet's office. Any help will be highly appreciated.

A while ago I bought some cat food and when I got the packet home, I noticed that on the back of the packet there was a warning saying that this food is not safe for human consumption, I threw them away immediately. Luckily I read it before I gave my babies the treats. For to me if it is not safe for us to eat then why put it on the shelves and expect us to feed them to our cats.

So I was wondering if anyone else felt the same way. And if there is anyway to petition against this?
