i think you are right about the gray one Ray Ray is a cute name but i agree with your mom on naming the black one Zi.

hi there you both have good names but i believe i like bella better since my granddaughter is named that and i really dont care for zi but being a cat lover and having many of them at this time just pick the name you feel most comfortable for you and that should be your kittens name forever more.

Depends on whether they are both male, both female, or one of each. Personally, I've always given my pets "human" names.....I hate stuff like "Fluffy" and "Precious". My miniature dachshund is named Nelson. I have a cat named Blanche. Why Ray Ray? Why not just Ray? I don't like Zi at all ...it makes no sense.

Why not try a compromise, you name one and she names the other (and go with with ray ray as your choice).

The cat will answer to whatever name you use when you feed them. You can call them the names you want and your mom can call them the names she wants. The cat will recognize their name when called as long as you're feeding them. Most of the time they don't come when called anyway.

To be honest, I'm not fond of any of those names. My Persian female was named Mira. My part Siamese part Tiger is Siger. My mixed breed is Baeli.

I am going to tell you the same thing I tell everyone else: let the cats choose their names. By that I mean that look at their personality. For example, one of my cats name is Matrix. She wants to conquer the world. Their personalities will tell you exactly what their name should be.
