Make a BIG effort to find her! That may help you feel better. Put up posters, place a lost add in the newspaper. Go down at least once a week to your local shelter and look and see if she is there. Most shelters can't tell you what they have on the phone as they don't have the time or they may simply not get it right. Be proactive in finding your pet!

Yes. Take a deep breath and remember the happy moments with your cat. Then find some other pets to take care of.
When we lost Phil, I was so sad. Then, we had a female cat then a male cat. We called the female cat Puti and the male cat, supposed to be Olence, we often called it Polence. Puti left. Polence died some months after. My heart couldn't accept what happened, we had our dogs, so I am fine now.

Oh, damaging Cuddles. that's amazingly unhappy. i'm relatively sorry you lost your kitty. The soreness will decrease in time whether it under no circumstances is going away. It takes a protracted time. you could write approximately him, placed a image album jointly, make slightly memorial for him...make a internet site along with his tale and pictures...do not attempt to combat it, purely think of roughly him and cry. My first cat died approximately 3 years in the past and that i nevertheless grow to be very unhappy while i think of roughly him. I nevertheless miss him plenty, even although I easily have 6 different cats. He replaced into my first and my well known. while he died i could not get off the mattress for a week, and the littlest theory approximately him might make me cry. I cried for weeks, or maybe months later i might ruin down as quickly as I heard of somebody dropping their puppy, or if I observed an injured or ill animal. I easily have his collar, well known toy and a few of his hair in a container on a bookshelf in my place of work, jointly along with his ashes, his pictures and his image album, and that i wrote a narrative approximately him that I shop on my computing device, and while ever i might think of of a few thing else approximately him i might upload it to the story. draw close in there.

Cats generally come back. They are smart and know exactly where their house is. How long ago was this? It is very odd that your cat did not come back for dinner after a day or two.
Cats hate being in the house all day, they like being able to leave the house every now and then.
Keep an eye out for her or him.

i know how you feel! it can be hard if you are really close to your cat but the truth is, it won't go away! but you can move on!! get a new cat. make sure it doesn't look like your old cat though! it could make you very sad!

I know that nothing can replace this cat but what may help is getting another cat. It may help to feel some of the emptiness.
