What can it be!? I would take him to the vet, but it's not really my cat. He's more of a wild cat that is afraid of everything, and hisses!! I just feed him, and take care of him. I'm scared to take him to the vet because he is so vicious!! What should I do?

I tried putting some ointment with a bandaide!? It kinda looks like something bit him. Could he die!? What should I do!?

I found a web site that you can call for reporting deaths (not illnesses) I lost a kitten to this.

The FDA is asking those with sick or dead pets to call FDA state complaint coordinators. A list of contacts for such coordinators is available at http://www.fda.gov/opacom/backgrounders/complain.html.

my cat is around 6 or 7 mts old. she was very demonic and now is sweet. my parents seem to think she is pregnant but im not sure. she doesn't really seem to have any of the 'taletale' signs but that might not have happened yet. when can you start telling if she is pregnant and how long will it take to have her kittens if she is pregnant. should the kittens be put in the house(shes an outdoor cat)

One of my cats keeps weeing on our beds, and we can't stop him.. we try keeping him in the kitchen with our other cat, shutting all the doors in the day.. but even if they're open for a little bit he sneaks upstairs and does his business.

How do we stop him from doing this?

Also.. he likes to play fetch with us (see him here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vwh9H509I0Y) - do many cats do this? :)

my cat, almost a year old, has like this black flakey stuff in his ears. he itches his..right? ear a lot. and i just thought that the black stuff was ear wax..i know im stupid.
anyway, someone i know said that the black stuff is like a by-product of ear mites. not sure.
and today as he was scratching his ear (you know. with his foot/claws) it started to bleed a little. but i'm pretty sure it's just b/c he scratches it too much.
so first. what should i do to make him stop itching his ears?
second. is it really like a by-product/symptom of ear mites?
anddd. what should i do before i take him to the vet?

My cat is peeing all over the house. She is almost 2 and is well litter box trained so i dont think she is having accidents. I think she is in heat, what do you think? If not, what is the problem?

My cat was rescued from the streets (actually, she kind of "belonged" to a homeless wanderer, but that's another story) about two months ago - she was very small - perhaps 4-6 weeks old.

When we come home, she greets us at the door - I've even seen her run when my husband exits the elevator (and she knows it's him, because she doesn't do it for our neighbors!).

She likes to eat EVERYTHING - even tomatoes. She also buries things like a dog, and comes when my husband calls her name from anywhere in the house. She's even loyal to one person like a dog!

I kind of think my cat is a dog...

I've had this kitten for about 3 weeks.

When we got her the person told us that it was a she. But lately, "she's" been really, well not exactly agressive but not exactly playful either. She scartches the hell out of me. I mean her claws are always out! Also, she keeps biting everything. Including me.
So my mum is telling me that its a boy, b/cause girl cats aern't as wild.

So, can someone tell me, in detail how i recognize if she's a girl or a boy.

OK my cat is VERY pregnant....due ANY day and i have so many questions i need some help please. 1.do all cats meow and "yell" when they are in labor? because she is a pretty quiet cat and i didnt know if that was definetely going to happen. 2. she got outside onto the patio with me yesterday and she came back covered in dirt and fleas so is it bad this close to labor to give her a bath or will it cause too much stress? 3. she has been nesting since sunday night...burrowing under the blankets with me and checking out her mommybox as well as closets...how long should this go on before she actually goes into labor? 4. she got pregnant her first time going into heat...she is only a year or so old...should i be concered about her delivering the babies? she is huge and i think she may have a pretty large litter. 5. she seems utterly miserable is there anything i can do to make her more comfortable until the big moment comes?? THANK you so much for any help i recieve!

My cat is about 2 years old. He is constantly jumping on my counters and on the mantel above my fireplace knocking off and breaking picture frames and other things. At night, I can't let him in my room because he jumps up onto the dressers and gets into everything. I shut my door but he bangs to get in. Then I put him downstairs and he will bang on that door to get upstairs which is right outside my bedroom door. Any suggestions on how I can get him to stop doing these things? I know this is normal for cats....but it's to the point where he keeps me up all night. He has already been neutered and his front paws were de-clawed.

My cat suddenly has very bad breath and when he eats, his food gets all over his face and he leaves it there to get crusty. He never used to be like this. Its only been in the past 2 days that he has been so messy and smelly. I switched food when I heard of the recall, but do you think this could be a result of tainted cat food? I heard the food caused kidney failure. Is bad breath a symptom of that? What symptoms should I look for?

She keeps leaving the litter of kittens(4 of them) unattended for extended periods of time. They are just 1 day old. One has already died for reasons unknown and one other one is REALLY small compared to the other two. Is this normal? Do I need to start feeding them with a bottle yet? Or just wait on the cat to feed them?

Thanks!
