Have you tried various types of fresh cat food? Maybe the cat food you usually feed your cat is rotten or something. Have you change his diet recently? Your cat could also not be eating because it has a urine tract infection, upper respiratory infection or worms.
Keep in mind that your cat may be eating stuff you don't know about. If, after four days, he's "still acting like his normal self" then maybe he's found an alternate food source, maybe from a neighbour or some freshly-caught birds or something. However, I wouldn't count on it.
If it's been four days then I suggest you seek veterinary help straight away. A long time without food can do a lot of damage to a cat's liver. Liver failure is fatal. Don't wait around; this is a very serious issue.

What have you been feeding her? Have you heard of the Pet Food Recall with Menu Foods? These are possible symptoms of Kidney Failure due to some of the foods.
Either way I would get her to the Vet ASAP. Something is most certainly wrong and needs to be looked at by a vet. No one here can help you.

Has your cat had any of the cat food that they have been talking about on the news recently that has been making cats/dogs sick? I would take the cat to the vet ASAP - My cat had similar symptoms almost a year ago and passed away within a few days so I wouldn't wait to go to the vet - Good Luck..

HI. Have you been reading about the pet food recall. Some wet and pouch foods have been causing kidney failure in cats and dogs. You can go to www.menufoods.com to see the list of recalled foods. I'm not trying to scare you, but you should look into this first and then go from there. Good luck!

It could be many, many, things hun. I'd get her to the vet for a check-up. Better safe than sorry.
My friends cat had this problem and it ended up being kidney stones that had to be surgically removed. She nearly didn't make it out of the operating room it was so bad, and had stopped the majority of her kidney functions.
In the long-run it was worth it. Her rambuctious kitty returned!!
I'm keeping fingers crossed that it's nothing bad for your kitty!

You've already the answers concerning the pet food recall, so I won't contribute to them.
Is your cat drinking excessive amounts of water? Is she elderly? If so, this could be early stages of kidney failure.
It could also indicate feline leukemia, an unpassed hairball, or something as simple as a tummy virus.
Your vet is in the best position to make this judgement; please take her in as soon as possible.

What cat food are you giving your cat? Go to www.menufoods.com and there is a list that you can check. It sounds like your cat is eating the bad food. Is your cat vomiting, no engery, going to potty a lot?

Nobody's mentioned diabetes, which would seem to be the obvious answer. All these people suddenly assuming that everything that goes wrong with their pets is the pet food's fault are silly.
