The foods are being recalled in N. America... Canada and US so far have found pets dying from the recalled foods, I believe Mexico is also included in the recall, but I am not 100% on that one.

Your food should be okay as it's likely not manufactured in the factories that they use here, and likely your ingredients are found locally rather than from N. America.

Right now the United States is having difficulty maintaining a standard of quality concerning our food. There have been many food products taken off the shelf, mainly from lack of inspectors.

There was spinach, peanut butter (for humans), and now dog and cat food. It effects about 90 or more brands. Ten animals have died so far. A lot of people in the United Stated buy these brands so it is of great concern that virtually anyone could lose an animal.

Menu Foods recalled large amounts of wet canned pet foods sold at large mass merchandisers like Wal-mart under various labels including Eukanuba. Last I heard, they were not releasing what was contaminating the food, but it's causing kidney damage and sometimes death in pets.

There are different brans of wet and pouch cat and dog food that is being recalled because the food is making cats and dog sick and they are dying. the web site to go to is. www.menufoods.com and they will have a list of cat and dog food that are being recalled because it has either Wheat Gluten or Afltoxins. You've already read the details from the previous answers; be glad you live in GB! (And am I ever glad I don't use the brands that were affected!)
Last night, a woman was on ABC news. She lost her beloved cat and said that he died a horrible death; she's suing the company for $50 million dollars and I hope she gets it! This company handled the situation in a very neglectful manner, in my opinion.
