My cat is peeing all over the house. She is almost 2 and is well litter box trained so i dont think she is having accidents. I think she is in heat, what do you think? If not, what is the problem?

She rubs her face everywhere! She also flops around and curls up in a ball.

Estrus ("heat") is the mating period of female animals. When estrus occurs, animals are said to be "in heat" or "in season." Cats normally have their first estrous cycle between 5 and 10 months of age, with the average age around 6 months.
The female cat has 2-4 estrous periods every year, each lasting 15-22 days. If she is bred, estrus seldom lasts more than 4 days.
If successful mating does not occur, estrus may last for 7-10 days and recur at 15- to 21-day intervals. It is possible for an unmated female to cycle every 3-4 weeks indefinitely.
Cats also have an estrous period 1-6 weeks after giving birth, so a female may be nursing one litter while pregnant with another.
Behavior
Behavioral changes are the only obvious signs that your cat is in estrus.
A cat in estrus carries her tail to one side, keeps her hindquarters elevated, exhibits "treading" movements of the hind legs, and seems unusually affectionate. She spends a good deal of time rolling on the floor and seems much more restless than usual. The cat's voice seems more piercing than usual and she may "call" for 1-2 days before she accepts the male.

Sounds more like a urinary tract infection. Is she howling and rubbing her behind against everything? That's how to tell if she's in heat. Peeing all over could be an infection or she may not like your cat litter or she may be mad at you. Take her to the vet and have her checked for infection and have her spayed while you're there. Then you will never have to worry about her being in heat! Good luck!

I would say she is not in heat or else there would also be blood around the house. It is probably a UTI, or it could be a kidney problem. I would take her to the vet ASAP. I would say look into having her spayed. If she every got out of the house, you could have 7 cats in just a few short months.

Sara K- Cats do not bleed when in heat.
I agree with other it seems to be a UTI, at 2 she would have gone into heat several times by now and you would know her normal routine. I would take her to the Vet ASAP.

Sounds like she is having a bladder or urinary tract infection...ger her to the vets soon or she can become blocked.
A sign your female cat is in heat is she will cry loud moans and can spot blood here and there.

I agree with the first answer. You may also want to empty and clean her litter box. It does retain odor and she may not want to use it because of what she smells. It's okay to use bleach but let it air dry before filling it again - in the sunshine if possible.
Good luck.

Could be heat or urinary tract infection. But could be stress also.Has anything happened in your home lately that would upset her? My cat started doing this after we got the 7th dog.He wouldn't stop.So he now lives outside.

The problem is that you need to get her spayed. Unless you are sure that you can find a home for those kittens. The reason why shes been having accidents is because she wants the toms (male cats) to know shes their. She wants to be bred. Spaying can be the sulution.
~I hope this helps
