I'm going to take that as you mean cats. Yes, it shouldn't be a problem. Usually it's better to bring a male cat into a house that already has a female in place. A male is very territorial. From what I have seen when I got a male and a female together I had no problems at all, the female took over immediately. Then when the male died we got another male and the female took over with that male. She was a pushy little thing. But when she died and we brought in another female he hated it. I think it would have been worse if we brought in a male. Now we have two females and want a third and are going for a male, thinking that as he will be the young one it should work out. My oldest is 17 and I'm not sure how much longer she has, even though she acts like she's about 10.

Well, Mandy's a bit pessimistic about women, isn't she? I have plenty of female friends who never have and never would stab me in the back. And I wouldn't dream of doing anything to them, either. Granted, I HAVE had female friends who DID stab me in the back, but you can get that with either sex. Live and learn.
I think whether or not men and women can be just friends is dependent on the people involved. Some women find it impossible to remain platonic with men while some men have the same problem. But if their are two people who know how to maneuver such a relationship, there isn't a problem. So it's not always possible, but it's not impossible, either.

Actually, yes. My best friend and closest confidant is a guy. Granted, there is the issue that he desperately wants into my pants, but that's taken care of by the physical distance between us *he's in colorado, i'm in florida*
Girls will stab other girls in the back, and from my standpoint, guys are more loyal to their friends. As long a it stays platonic, it's good. Dating royaly screws up the dynamic, though, and sex makes it worse.

You can be friends with whomever you want to, just keep it appropriate. ie. If you are 12, be sceptical of someone who is 50 and wants to be your friend.
Some cats can be pretty sketchy.

umm well im a guy and well we can always be friends but as long as one of them falls in love with the other like i am really good friends with this girl but i really like her now but yea as long as no one fallls for the other than yea
