I heard on the news animals are getting sick from pet foods. My parents buy are cat food from the vet. It's called td and it's dry and crunchy if that helps. My parents are out of town right now and I want to know if my cats are safe. Any help?

There is no concrete answer to your question. ANYTHING processed is NOT GOOD including our food, and even vitamins we buy. Only way to make sure the food is safe is by giving your cat home made all row meat diet such as BARF. Stay away from ANY canned food for pets. Hope this helps.

The food that was making cats and dogs sick has been recalled. Your cat should be fine and I don't think TD was one of the brands I know Ukanuba, Iams, Nutro, and professional were.

Your cats should be fine, this TD brand is probably a separate company all together and not involved. Also no dry food is tainted at this point.

I have never heard of TD. If the vet is still selling it then it is probably alright.

According to the news articles, the problem with pet foods is in the canned/moist foods...if you're only feeding crunchy, you should be fine.

it is just soft canned foods in gravy that are being recalled!
