For right now they are saying that we should only be feeding dry. Cats don't need wet food. If you feel you need to give wet food, take some of the dry for now and moisten it. Ok?

I wouldn't risk it. Not only that, but Iams is just not a good brand.

I DO advocate sticking with canned food. You just need a better brand!

You can choose from any on this list. They're all very high quality. And if your cat is picky, there are many to choose from; you're sure to find one she'll like.

I personally feed Natural Balance.

Menu Foods, the company that manufactured the recalled wet and moist food has changed its suppliers and is now manufacturing food again. But since they have not identified the source of the toxin, I'd be hesitant to use it. Just my opinion.

Iams dry food is not produced by Menu Foods, so if you are feeding dry, I'd be comfortable that it is safe.

If your not sure of the cans start using some of these product for detoxing and I use Purina.
Throw away the products a little money is not worth losing your pet.

If you have a sick pet the best detox products that I used for years on my cats , dogs and horses is MSM from www.horsetech.com and Xango the oringinal mangosteen juice also fully refined dietitary Emu oil is great for a lot of things for your animals. I have used all these for years with great results for my family and animal family.
Good health to all.

I would still hold off. Dry cat food is not effected. The only thing affected is the choice cuts with gravy.
