She's blind in one eye, but I don't think that's why.

I think your cat wants you to groom him/her, which is a compliment. My cat used to lick me a lot in one little spot, then rub her face all over the licked spot. Just let her do it, then please, wash your hands when she's done.

I don't know, but my cat does it too! It's like a obsession for her. If i try to move my hand she grabs it and just keeps liking with her rough sandpaper tongue. I don't think it has anything to do with her leaving her litter because we have her brother too, and he doesn't lick at all. But he does headbutt alot. She has both of her eyes, but my sister's cat has one eye and she doesn't lick, so i don't think it's that either.

It is known that when a cat licks you it is the highest form of a affection shown to you from a cat.

Mine does the same thing and she also licks my face. I like to think she is showing her affection that way.

My kitty licks and sucks my fingers... sometimes hurts with the teeth. He has also licked my face, nose, feet...
