IF she is pregnant time will only tell and it will become obvious, eventually you will be able to feel the kittens in her belly and see them moving around sumwhat.

Give it time and you will find out.

At some point though you are going to have to take her to the vet for a check up if she is pregnant to make sure she is healthy and everything is going okay. Her diet will need to change also if she is pregnant. So she really does need to be seen. She also needs to be spayed so she doesn't get pregnant again...

If its just weight gain, then you know the obvious answer, change the diet. There are other reasons for weight gain...but you need to take your cat to the vet to be sure. So save up your money!

Good luck.

Depending on how far along she is, you can check to see if she's pregnant yourself.. Most females go through a drastic weight gain during their 5th-6th week of pregnancy.

While she's laying down, pet her belly with both your hands and work your way down to her tail slowly while applying a small amount of pressure - this is called abdominal palpation. (Most pregnant females enjoy having their bellies rubbed). Pay attention to what you feel below your fingers. Most likely you will feel a couple little things moving in their. If you'd like to try and see how big the litter will be start the palpations again up at the rib cage and work your way down moving side to side and count how many separate wigglely lulmps you find. The average size of a domestic litter is 3.88 kittens.

My cat has a saggy stomach and she doesn't look pregnant - so I think your cat is around the 6 week mark of her pregnancy. A full pregnancy is approx. 63-65 days, so I would think she's getting close to her due date, you may want to think about making a kitten box. If you have any more questions feel free to ask!

if she has been spaid (fixed) the muscles in her stomach may not be able to hold it in as well (something that happens to humans to) and she may get saggy - if she's over 2 years old this could just be a fact of life. You may want to increase her exercise and check the nutrition/fat content of her food.

I am not a Vet but I have had many female cats and they always seem to get the saggy belly after a while.

She is most definatly pregnant and well, you don't NEED to take her to the vet! All you really need to do is set her in a bathroom with a litter box, food, and a bed to have her babies in. She will be just fine!

If you cant afford to take your cat to the vet you have no buisness owning one. Please take responsability, cats are living breathing creatures and if you know you cant afford vet bills (which is something you cant avoid when owning a pet) then you should not have an animal

i bet she is pregnant -especially if she isn't fixed-either that or she is just gaining alot of weight-or might have a tumour growing in the inside of her-check to see when she is lying on her side if you see something move -if so she is so pregnant-
