okay about a month ago we got rid of our 5 month old kitten because it kept eating my baby's cups with milk. Well I ended up giving it to my mom and well she kept it outdoors. Mom lives in like a ranch with a lot of animals on a big piece of land. Anyway my older daughter went out to visit my mom and saw the kitten & of course remember it and asked if she could bring it back. I told her it was okay. The 1st night here we took it a bath and it bite my husband's hand. Wierod because we used to bathe it all the time. 2nd day I was holding it and it tried to bite my finger. Later that night it actually bite my daughter's chin. Very light but enough to leave a little mark on her face. Since then the kittens been a bit weirod it meows a lot, very hungry, her bottom jaw is very shakey, her breath stinks and she has a lot of salva coming out. Now its not foaming its just kind of like water that comes out and she keeps sucking back in. Help is the kitten safe to bring back in?

She does purr sometimes, but it is so faint that you almost have to put your ear to her body to hear her. She was an abandoned/malnutrated cat when she was rescued by a local vet (who cared for her until she was well and able to be adopted.)

She used to meow quite a bit. Sometimes I can hear a very faint and scratchy meow, but generally she is tries to but nothing comes out. Do cat's lose their voices? Will it be likely to come back? Should I take her to the vet?

I am looking for one with the most meat, least by-products(none would be better) least amount of grains. etc. My cat has had struvite crystals. And is recovering from a blockage(2 weeks ago).
And has been on Purina UR. I have read the ingredients on Hill's and Eukanuba and Eukanuba sounds better (but I don't know as much as I would like about pet nutrition)

when i touch my cat (female 12 yrs old) anywhere on the back half of her she flinches or slinks away from the touch as if she is in pain. Everything else appears to be normal. no weight loss or difficulty moving jumping etc. She loves to be pet on her back normally so i am quite concerned. I brought her to the vet and when she was there the symptoms seemed to vanish and an examination found nothing. I brought her back a week later and same thing. This time I had Xrays done and still nothing. Any ideas on what the problem could be? Oh, and she has been sneezing a bit as of late as well...

my hubby and I were walking in our door when we heard a moaning meow. we looked and saw a HUGE cat laying behind our bushes. we think it's pregnant, but we don't know. we're not even sure if it's a female! It has no balls, but we're not sure if it's been neutered. We did find out that it was a old neighbors a couple doors down that moved, and left the cat, but that's all we have to go on.we think we feel lumps down there, and we put her/him in our garage in a box and it doesn't move. it just sits there and meows like it's uncomfortable. can anyone help! how can we tell if it's a girl/boy? and how can we tell if it's pregnant? my hubby thinks he feels nipples, but isn't sure. it has a lot of fur. thanks!

I rescued a cat from a hoarder so this kitty has never had to use a litter box, he and 30 other cats used any suface. I have him in a very large cage and he just lays in his litter box, even after he's gone to the bathroom in it. Also, his cage is lined with potty pads and no bedding. As soon as I put any bedding in his cage, he uses that to go to the bathroom. He doesn't have any medical issues. Any ideas? Otherwise, he's a very sweet and playful cat. I'm hoping to get him to break this habit so I can get him adopted.

It wasn't bad and I thought it was just sleepies until this weekend. Sat. afternoon I noticed his eyes were really tearing badly. It is the long weekend too and I haven't been able to do anything for him except put saline solution in his eyes. So Saturday, Sunday and Monday he has been dealing with this. Up until just this afternoon he was okay, just looked like his eyes were irritated. But tonight he is very sleepy and just sits in front of the fireplace sleeping all day. He has been very playful despite his eyes for the past few days, just not today. I am finally going to get to see a vet tomorrow morning. Will he be okay until then?

I am hoping to build a fence tall enough to keep a cat in. It will also have a negative edge to prevent them from jumping into the wall and then scaling over the top.

The cat is good, five year old neutered male, mellow.

I live in a rural area where standard of living is pretty middle of the road.

I would provide food and litter.

I have four cats, all of which I've had since they were kittens,I've always given them dry cat food in the morning when I let them out,a little more dry food around 3&at 7pm is when I put my cats in, so with a buket of the cat food that I rattle&the cats know to come get some food. We'll at night I get the cats in with the dry food, but after a few minutes or so after they've eaten that dry food,I will bring them some canned cat food which they like much more.Well recently one of the cats has become picky&wont or hardly eat the food I give it.Evan when the cat knows it's starving&very hungry;I put dry food infront of the cat,it wont eat it,I've eaven put canned food infront of it either wont eat it or acts like it's a doing me a favor by eating it,when it's the one that's hungry.
I cant seem to figure it out though the cat may cry it's hungry it wont eat the food it's given. The only thing it will consistenly eat is meat:ham, turkey, sausage ect.But I've had trouble with that to.Hlp plz?

My female cat, who has not been fixed, is going to be 2 in October and has still never had a period or gone into heat. Is this normal or could there be something wrong with her? Granted I'm glad she hasn't, we don't plan to breed her or anything but I'm afraid something may be wrong with her :/ Please help!

He was abandoned, very loving cat. I dont understand why someone would just leave him. Hes a tuxedo (Black & White)
He has a limp but gets around very well. He has a mark on his chin that reminds me of a soul patch or a goatie. Any ideas?

I recently took in a homeless female cat. I've had cats before but this is my first female. her symptoms of constant meowing, rubbing on the carpet and lifting her hind end all point to her wanting to mate. I was just wondering how long and how often this normally lasts? It was a sigh of releif knowing her calls were just to find a mate and not of any sort of pain but none the less it can wear on you. thanks.
