She used to meow quite a bit. Sometimes I can hear a very faint and scratchy meow, but generally she is tries to but nothing comes out. Do cat's lose their voices? Will it be likely to come back? Should I take her to the vet?

She seems like she is frustrated when nothing comes out when she attempts to meow. Is there a vet out there who has any ideas?

My cat lost its meow a few months ago. It was really kinda cute. He had this little quiet raspy meow. I wondered the same thing, can a cat loose its voice? It happened when the weather turned cold. He hadn't been used to being allowed outside but he is an insistent ornery little stinker and I decided I would go ahead and let him out for a while everyday. So, I think he just wasn't used to the weather, and got a cold. Cats can get respiratory infections, so colds seem possible. Anyway he did get better and is meowing like normal again.

provide up caving. Your cat has you very nicely experienced. If she annoys you adequate, she gets greater nutrition. at last she would be in a position to examine. that's incredibly helpful to contemplate switching her to an more suitable high quality nutrition. Purina is crammed with fillers which includes grain that a cat can not digest, as a result they could devour greater nutrition to acquire the nutrition they prefer. A small handful of nutrition two times an afternoon does no longer sound like adequate, a minimum of how i'd decide that to be. I advise utilising a measuring cup to work out how lots you quite are feeding. i for my section feed my cats 0.5 a can of well being two times an afternoon, and if we've executed a super sort of play for the time of the day, they get a pair of million/8 of a cup of dry well being to cut up at evening or a small scatter midday. My cats thrive on a canned weight loss software. they are actually right down to their suitable weight, have greater capability, and are not as dehydrated anymore. i'm no longer partial to unfastened-feeding whether the owner chooses dry nutrition. 2 nutrients an afternoon, no longer greater desirable than 12 hours aside is greater valuable to the cat considering the fact that they could sleep to exact digest. If the cat is continually ingesting and drowsing, they'll develop into fat. you ought to in all probability stand to offer your cat somewhat greater nutrition. **Set a time for supper which includes 7am and 7pm, provide the cat as lots nutrition as she needs, yet pull up the nutrition after 30 minutes. Your cat will study that nutrition only comes at those circumstances, and could at last regulate. you only could stay good and follow the time table.

My older cat has done the same thing. I never bothered to have it checked since he never seemed distressed. I wouldn't worry about it, if she is acting and eating properly. She may simply have less to talk about right now!
