Whever one of them walks by and I pet them, they always fart. Is this normal???

Both of mine do the same thing...except their smell dosent pass quickly, its really dense like a cloud, i figure theyre getting even for when theyre curled up in my lap and i rip a nasty one...

Unfortunately, it probably is. My female cat farts when I pick her up and hug her or stroke her. Apparently she feels entirely comfortable, so she lets it rip. Usually the smell passes quickly.

Wow, I guess you have the magic touch. I can honestly say I have never had that happen and I have had alot of cats in my years. Maybe it's the food you feed him or he's gotten ahold of a bad batch of mice. lol

You make them feel totally relaxed, and when they are they pass gas.
