Mostlikely. It's possible that your cat is sensitive to light, which could make her teary. Though, it is quite natural for the occasional tear, you should get her checked out ASAP.

He'll be fine, just a little uncomfortable. It sounds like your cat has herpes (quite common in cats), which is an infection associated with an upper respiratory infection commonly known as a cold. My cat has the same thing; here eyes break out occasionally and get all teary. Some antibiotics from the vet will clear that right up. Your cat will have outbreaks in the future, but this illness isn't really dangerous unless it develops into URI.
Good luck!

I think he will be fine til you get to the vet. But I know how easy it is to worry. These are some things you might think about for your vet visit. For me, it is easier to make a list of ?s and take them with me, rather than trying to remember them during the exam. I would record: when his eyes started getting gooky, did he act ok the couple days before this, what color is the discharge, has he been sneezing, etc. GOOD LUCK and it is very responsible of you to take your cat to the vet like anybody who loves their pet would do as opposed to some of the things people are considering for treatment of their pets on here.

He may have a cold or upper respiratory infection and running a bit of a temperature. He'll be fine till you get him to the vet tomorrow - just keep him warm and dry. The sleep will do him good too. Cats know when they need to rest.

He'll be fine. He probably just has a cold or got something in his eyes that caused the irritation. Be sure to tell the vet how long it's been going on and any color of the drainage if you notice any. Clear drainage is usually fine.

He will totally be fine! It's normal to be concerned that way, as a parent of a pet. However, I've dealt with two eye infections with my kitty, really bad eye bougars, and sleep in the eyes, but you'll get an ointment, and all will be fine!

Could be ringworm. It isn't a worm, and it isn't always in the shape of a ring. It's a fungus. Be careful, because this is easily transferred to humans. You can tell for sure by taking the cat to the vet. He can give you specific advice about it and treatments. For yourself, you can use anit-fungal cremes. This really, really itches.

Cats can show upper respiratory infections through their eyes - either tearing or the third eyelid coming out. He should be fine as long as he is eating and drinking and using the litter box.

My kitten recently had a similar problem and when I took her to the vet. it turned out that she had pink eye in both her eyes, which is apparently really easy to do in cats. They gave me some medication and told me to wipe her eyes with a warm wash cloth and it would go away.

It's good that you are taking him to the vet tomorrow. I'd definitely say he'll be okay until then, just keep an eye on him to be safe.
