I was thinking that i might get my medium/long haired kitten used to water as a youngster so she won't make as much of a fuss if she needs to get a bath for any reason later on (i am not planning on doing this regularly though. just when she needs it). She is 9 weeks old. How should i introduce her to water? She is a little bid shy and independent, so i don't want to scare her.

My Cat will use the pads of her feet and her claws to "paw" at my sliding glass door...this is her way of letting me know when she wants to go in and out. She rarely, if ever, meows about anything.

The neurotic part is she exhibits this behavior 20, 30 or more times a day. In and out, in and out...sometimes she'll want to go out for just a half minute or so.

I'm driven nuts...I've never had a cat that doesn't use her MEOW to communicate. Also, I've never had a cat that goes inside and out so many times per 24 hour period. Neurotic! Please...any suggestions? Anyone going through this?

My kitty is turning 2 years old in May...yes, she's been fixed and has all her shots. Thank you in advance!

I recieved a TICA registered Bengal for my birthday in December. She still has no name! Any help would be appreciated. A little about her: She is about 7-8 months old, very fiesty and extremely gorgeous! Her personality is A+, she fetches, plays hide & seek, and has come a long way from when we brought her home. Before joining our family, she was underweight, extremely dirty, and scared of everything! She hadn't known life outside a dirty cage nor the love a human is capable of giving.

Long story short, since she is a TICA registered Bengal, it's very important for us to come up with a suitable forever name. Once you turn the paperwork in, that's it.

Thank you in advance for your responses!!!

I have two 9 week old brown tabby kittens. One is a dark grey /brown short hair male with 4 white paws and white tuxedo markings. The other is a dark brownish/black medium hair female.
The boy is kind of a goof and cuddly, and the girl is a little shy and loves to play intensly. She reminds me of a tiger, so i was thinking of calling her tigre. Any name ideas for my kittens?

I know cats do the kneading when they prepare to sleep, etc. but my cat does this at the same time she's eating.

My kittens are 9 weeks old and they used to wear a collar back at the humane society, but we haven't started them wearing one at home. Should i get them to wear a collar? they will be mostly indoor cats, but possibly will go outside to go to the bathroom or something. What kind of collar should i get? probably a break-away one, i'm assuming? oh and also are collars dangerous for when they play?

I have medium hair and short hair kittens, right now they are 9 weeks or so old. Will there be any reason for me to give them a bath, especially the medium haired one? i have heard that it isn't necessary unless they are sick or old and unable to groom themselves. If this is true, should i get my kittens used to water so it won't be such a fuss later on?

My cat has become very aggressive. He bites us for no reason and hisses at us if we move the wrong way. Sometimes he's fine and sometimes he's brutal. We are considering putting him to sleep because we are worried about his interaction with a new baby. He is fixed and he's 11 years old. What is wrong and what can we do?

My cats is about 5 months old and he will climb into a lap and just start sucking on an ear, any ear. Doesn't matter who it is. No worries, just wondering why he is doing this. We did take him away from him mom at about 6 weeks, I know that was a bit too early, but who knows what his fate would have been if we didn't take him right then.

My cat tracks litter all over our hardwood floor. We have his litterbox in the laundry room wich is just off of the dining area. There is a large mat under the litterbox designed to catch stray litter. My cat hops out of the litter box and the litter goes everywhere. Is there anything I can do to stop this?
