Please help.
I know the medical terms and etc...
What are your personal experiences with it?
My kitten is 4 months and is going to be fixed and declawed Feb 12th. Will he still scratch in his litter box and etc??
Will he still be able to climb/jump without his claws?
Do they remove the whole claw or just some of it.
Thanks alot and have a good day

She has been on antiboitics for a week and the vet said that if she had a UTI you would see a change and it would help it if she does. Nothing has changed she is still laying in the literbox at times and using it and haivng accidents.

My 12 year old cat was just recently diagnosed with cancer in her abdomen. I saw the Xrays. To be sure it is cancer, they said I could do a biopsy. But, I figured why. Put her through more pain when it cant be cure. Any input? Is the biopsy painful after?

We're trying to keep the cats out of one bedroom but don't want to have to keep the door closed all the time.

my other cat which is a 7 year old female calico, seemed okay at first as the cat i brought home was the same breed and was 7 months so she wasnt a threat to my cat, however as we approached the 4th day of the new cat being here I noticed that the younger cat was getting agressive while playing and even at times fighting because she kept cornering my cat in the closet and was at times almost taunting her to make a move.. I also noticed that my cat was very afraid to even walk by the new kitty to get to her litter box or food...I started thinking that she may be to much for the older female to handle?

I dont know...I ended up taking her back to the shelter today and feel very guilty, she was a beautiful cat and really started to feel comfortable here, she didnt do anything wrong except be that cat she is... when I got home i noticed a big chnage in my older cat, she was more alive and made noise and even greeted me by the door.. did I do the right thing taking the cat back?

I have had 2 cats that did this. Have never gotten a straight answer from a vet. It looks as if their legs are just moving enough as to be trembling. Hope i am giving enough information

We have a 16 week old kitten and the inside whites of her eyes have been coming out and covering the dark part and the white part I am not sure what the inside are called they came from the corner of her eyes they dont seem to hurt her it just looks a little strange... Also it seems like her ears are a little whiter she is alkl white except for a triangle on her head I was just wondering if this sounds bad or could it just be that she is tired? I will take her to the vet monday but was just wondering if anyone knew what it was we have hardwood floors maybe it could be dust?

Our cat usually sleeps with us and pretty much does as she pleases around our house. What needs to change once the baby comes home? Thanks!

I'm fostering 5 young kittens in my spare room for the Shelter I volunteer at. They are getting quite active but are too young yet to know to use the litter tray ...although I know a couple are?? Someone in a yahoo cat group I'm in from Canada suggested Potty Pads. Does anyone know where I can purchase them here in Australia...I'm in Melbourne.

I have a 3 month-old kitten & i'm confused about it's gender. It's got a sac after the anal opening & then something like penis & two nipples. The man who sold it to me told me it's a female, he's an expert.

I have a spoiled rotten 5 year old cat and have rescued a not quite one year old cat from under the dumpster at work. I made the mistake when I brought the little one home last night of just setting down the carrier and expecting my older one to start acting nice! Didn't work!! Now I'm trying to follow the advice of the experts and have them separated in different rooms. I'm curious if anyone else has tried this method and what the results were. My older cat has been labeled the "devil cat" and such by my friends..so that tells you what I'm dealing with. The reason I want another cat - besides the fact that I love cats - is that my older one is getting fat and seems to be getting crankier the more I work - guess I figured that she'd enjoy some company and stimulation. Please give me any pointers or anything that you've learned!!!!
