We have a 16 week old kitten and the inside whites of her eyes have been coming out and covering the dark part and the white part I am not sure what the inside are called they came from the corner of her eyes they dont seem to hurt her it just looks a little strange... Also it seems like her ears are a little whiter she is alkl white except for a triangle on her head I was just wondering if this sounds bad or could it just be that she is tired? I will take her to the vet monday but was just wondering if anyone knew what it was we have hardwood floors maybe it could be dust?

She does not appear to be in any pain it seems to only happen when she is tired and she is not acting any different she is still wild and active and she plays with our Chihuahua all the time. I will still be taking her to the vet on monday to make sure. Thanks for all your answers

For the white things, those are her seccond eyelids, all cats have them and they cover their eyes from the inside corner, this happens when they sleep you see their outside eyelid close halfway and the inside starts to cover their eye, it is perfectly fine, her ears could be whiter because their ear and paw colors change sometimes.

**** coming out of the eye is NEVER a good thing. This could be a cold, an infection, or something much worse!

Humans sneeze, cats GOO!

Go to the VET right now. Do not wait. Colds can be deadly for cats.. ESPECIALLY KITTENS.

For the safety of the kitten I would get him to a vet! It sounds very strange to me but not seeing it, it's hard to really answer. But I would go to the vet and be sure the kitty isn't sick. Is she acting playful? If she's not acting playful then thats a definate sign that there is something wrong. If kitty doesn't eat correctly thats another sign. Think of the kitty, go to the vet.

do you mean her 3rd eyelid is covering it when you are trying to look at her eyes?? If so that's normal. I'm not too sure what you mean by her ears are whiter etc, but if you are going to be taking her to the vet I'm sure she's going to be fine.

She needs to go to the vet, their third eyelids coming out can indicate serious pain and illness in other parts of their body.

Not dust. There is a disease that afflicts cats that is similar to cataracs. When it strikes a cat it will cause discoloration of the iris and sometimes the pupil causing them to become white.
