give them equal attention and dont favor your cat. by the way i am a dog person and not too fond of cats unless they are cute and nice. not those ones that growl everytime you look at them. heres a great idea sell your cat!!!!!!!!!! duh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They are going thru a sort of Turf War. The dogs were first and then came the cat, right. It was the dogs territory first, so he will defend it from the cat. They will eventually get along well with each other. I'd recommend getting a spray bottle and fill it full of water, so when one of them attacks the other you can spray the initiator of the disagreement. I use this method and all I have to do now is pick up the water bottle and my dog leaves my cats alone.

Dogs and cats do not get along. After some time together they might get better but sometimes it takes a while.
