I have had 2 cats that did this. Have never gotten a straight answer from a vet. It looks as if their legs are just moving enough as to be trembling. Hope i am giving enough information

My cat's skin kinda twitches when it lays down... Maybe they're just dreaming or are on high alert for anything suspicious.

It is possible that they have a potassium deficiency, but you would want to check this on some bloodwork before treating them.

Hmmm... Thats weird.... try making the room warmer or umm.... maybe it has brain damage or something....

my cat's paws twitch in her sleep, but I don't think I've ever seen her shake...
