My roomate is watching my cat for a couple of weeks but she hates the site and smell of wet food and my cat eats both dry food and wet food. Is there any way to get around it? Is there a cat food that I can have her feed my cat so they're both happy? Maybe a "moist" dry food?

My cat is up in age although he does not act like it. I am worried about this black spot in on his eye. The vet said it was nothing to worry about, what can it be? Could it be that he is going blind?

The last day or so I have noticed my cat (who is long haired) has lost a couple of patches of fur. It's almost looks like someone cut out a chunk of his coat. I've noticed a piece come off when he was licking himself, but there doesn't appear to be any bald spots on his body and no sores that I can tell. Is this normal or is there something wrong?

When my 2 younger cats drink from the water bowl they have their own way of drinking the water. The girl dips her paw in and licks it but my male cat, which is her brother, will just cry his head off if there is no water in the sinks
Do you cat do this or are mine just crazy?

Mine hears me cracking the ice cube tray and comes running cause he KNOWS something will fall on the floor. I'm sure he would chase a big cube if I dropped it for him, this is how much joy he takes in it! What other odd things does your cat do?

One day while I was on the telephone with a chatty girlfriend, I noticed my large grey and white domestic short hair behaving strangely. I was still in bed and the television and stereo was off. My apartment was quiet. My cat came running to the bedroom door, stopped turning around to face out, then ran quickly back out of the bedroom and came right back, turning out again in the doorway as I lay in bed listening to my friend. My cat did something he had never done before. He growled loudly. I told my friend that something wasn't right and asked her to hold on as I got out of bed to check. as I entered the living room, a man was trying to come through the window of my apartment, which was on the second floor. He had climbed a tree to get there. He saw me, pulled his legs from the window, swung onto a tree limb and dropped down, hurting himself as he did. He limped away quickly knew no one was supposed to come through the window and what he did saved me from god knows what.

The cat is a stray that I brought in. I took him to the vet a few weeks ago and they said everything was O.K. with him. We didn't notice that he drank so much until after we took him to the vet. He drinks all of his water and then sits by the sink and begs for more. (He's only 3.)

Look guys keep in mind that I am thee most animal lover in the world and taking that 7 month old kitten back to the shelter really was very hard for me, but also keep in mind that I made the decision based on this.

My 16 year old cat died and both my 7 year old cat and myself were somewhat depressed and lonely..

I thought after reading many experts testimony that getting a 2nd cat would increase life span, exercise and the buddy system with my exsisting cat.

They were seperated and had many supervised visits for about a week, things went well however my older cat became depressed and was even cornered several times by the younger more agressive kitten.. She was obviously umcomfortable and even afraid of this younger smaller cat..

I still feel bad, but after coming back home and seeing my cat run around the house like a track starr, I know i did the right thing.. I'll call every friday to see if that young adorable kiity gets adopted

I know cats sneeze sometimes. But recently she's been sneezing about six times in a row a couple times throughout the day. Other than that she is completely normal. She's eating, sleeping, and behaving the same. What can I do for her? How long should I wait until I take her to the vet?

I have an kitty litter box with a top to it and somone knocked the top over one day and the cats couldnt get to the litter. So one went behind my TV and pooped. I cleaned it up and sprinkled some baking soda over the area and Febreezed it a few times. They have never done that before. Once one pooped , they all go back there now and sniff around and I have since then caught a couple of them trying to poop back there now .. What can I use that will make them stay away from that area?? I have heard something about vinegar, but that has been such a long time back when I heard that , that I dont remember if that was what they were talking about. I just am getting sick of chasing them away from that area now. Id love to get a carpet cleaner to clean the area, but Im on strict bedrest right now and dont hae the money to hire anyone to do it at the moment. So until then, is there something I could spray back there to keep them away?
